I guess I am just confused because if he raped her then call it rape and be done with it. Why add that it was deviate? Seems like overkill and also lets everyone know that not only do we think he raped her but we also figure he did it kinda freaky. I guess I will have to see if raping in the pooper carries a greater penalty in Pennsylvania than missionary-style rape. My Google task for the day.

Rape is defined as forced sexual intercourse, they add the others for specific acts that are done during the rape itself, including forced anal and oral sex.

It is just piled on top of the rape charge.

Hmm I was just in Pittsburgh the other day, I tend to stay at the Omni instead of the Westin. Now we here in PA can watch a circus of a trial too. Should be fun.
