Why do you insist on casting pearls like this? I can tell immediately that Sebastian is the kind of mouth-breathing neanderthal who eats at restaurants with names. It's enough to make one shudder, if shuddering weren't so uncouth.

AoN, I am sure that I speak for many in The LawTalkers Community* when I say that I am dying to know what you said before the edit.

In other news, my Stanley Cup predictions seem to be a mixed bag. The Senators appear to have things in hand, but the Rangers, uh, don't look like they will be making a run toward the conference championship. The Puddies of the world would be buying brooms if they understood basic math skills. Bastards.

At least I put lots of imaginary money at the imaginary offshore sports book on the Avalanche.

To be fair (Hi, PLF! - oh, by the way, Steve orders a chicken salad sandwich and gets offed by an informant as he's about to take his first bite, and somebody says it's such a shame because the chicken salad is so good at Warner's), I didn't know what a soft-shell crab was until my mid-20s.

But then again, I was raised in a desert.

The money quote: "As far as terrorism through squirrels, we’re not into it," said one neighbor, who asked not to be named or have her address revealed. She added, "I don’t know anyone who’s that nuts."

I only go to places where there is no necessity to actually order, which saves me from the mortification of having to flip through a menu that has been pawed over by God knows how many slobbering patrons before me. It also preempts the type of painfully banal banter with the staff with which Sebastian is apparently all too familiar. Finally, I am assured that I will not find myself pairing a tuna carpaccio appetizer with a seared ahi tuna entree (with the requisite wasabi mashed potatoes side) or some other dreadfully pedestrian duo of dishes. But that is just me and my personal tastes and preferences. I realize that most of you probably enjoy the whole restaurant-where-you-have-to-order thing. Nothing wrong with that.
