So I am on the treadmill last night, and as everyone who's anyone knows, I was down with the Wu back in the day, since they came str8outta shaolin, and I am Ironman, and fka Tony Stark, so of course Ghostface is on my iPod. I am listening to his brand new shit, and the remix of "Back Like That" comes on, and the intro is NeYo talking over the beat, and introducing people and he says,
"Ghostface, your getting fat now."
And Starkes talks over and says,
"It's the remix, got the fat stomach I’m laid up , eating good now"
Tm,
Life imitating art or art imitating life?

The Brazenette prefers her cereal sans milk, which means it travels quite easily.

I think most people here could have your lifestyle, and yet, they don't choose it.
I understand if you're trying to convince yourself, but you're really not convincing anyone else. And no matter how relentlessly you pursue this line of "my life is better than yours", no one here (but you, apparently) would choose the life of paralegaling over b'nb's lifestyle.
We could all be paralegals if we wanted that.

I have to tell you dtb that was the closest thing to something nasty you have ever posted to me.
My mom was dumped on her ass after 20 years of stay at home martha stewartness. Her lifestyle went down like 70% in Q-O-L.
I would never fucking stay home if you paid me. It is my own personal quirk being projected on her but I am allergic to staying home. and my husband is a peach. it's not about him. it is my issue.
and you can tell me that my mom's situation is unique to me but then I'd have to call bs. I hear it all the time.
Some poor 56 year old woman shilling makeup in Chappaqua her CEO hubby dumped her to trade up? NO THANKS.

I wouldn't take 2 hour naps. I take 2 45 minutes naps, one AM one PM in an empty office next door. but 2 hours straight would be too long.

I think I finally understand where you were coming from a few weeks ago.
You were upset NOT because TM said you weren't pretty, but rather, because he lied about the fact that you ARE pretty. And he did it in a nasty way.
This means that you met with TM and subjected yourself to his appraisal NOT because you were seeking validation, but rather, you were just meeting so that he could verify your prettiness. No more, no less. It's the fact that he lied that set you off.
Have I got this right now?

Question: If you won the lottery or if you found a magic tree that grew money, would you still feel the compulsion to work?

YES! Hallelujah and praise Jesus! Yes!
The lying makes good drama on the board.
There is no drama in me being attractive.

Careful. It's a short step from understanding a nutjob to simply being one. I watched this happen to Hank on the PB.

No one is saying you are wrong for making the choices you have made. People take issue with your foisting your choices upon others and your apparent attitude that if someone doesn't make the same choices you do, they are somehow not doing the right thing.
