You're also probably not counting the many gratuitous shots of Will Farrell's naked butt (even more in the dvd if you buy it!). Old School cracked me up. I laughed and laughed. (mind you I was a little drunk).

breasticle day (again)

The answer is probably. At this point we have 6 people participating, 3 men and 3 women. I'm not sure that is enough that it is fair to those individuals to be the only ones put on the spot, anonymously or not.
I'll leave it to those 6 people to PM or email me privately and let me know how they feel on the matter however.

I have a photo ready, I just literally have been so swamped since the weekend that I haven't had a chance to load it onto my computer.
I would make the Mr. remind me, but he would be kind of pissed if he realized I wasn't submitting the pedicure picture that he approved for public viewing.

Gina (reality tv expert) got booted. Matt voted for Molly (virgin) and Gina voted for Matt. The remaining votes were for Gina. A nice touch was the smiley face dotting the i in Gina on one of the ballots. Matt was shocked that Gina voted for him because he thought they could trust each other. I think it was wise of Matt to drop out of law school.

Well, I actually didn't even like him in that movie. But, he was very good on NYPD Blue. He just fucked up by thinking he was hotter shit than he was. I mentioned him because so few people have heard about the movie and whenever I describe it to anyone, they're always surprised at the number of big names in it.

I am watching the show. Not all of the actors are Canadian. (DH, for example, is the brother of Cuba Gooding.)
Frankly, I am surprised the average life span is so high. I talked to my ex last night about the show and he thinks it does a great job portrying the team and off-field issues -- though it condenses five or ten guys' problems into one person.
Of my friends who played professionally, I cannot think of a single one who left his time in the league unscarred. Whether it is a slight limp, or difficulty moving around in the morning, or some cognitive difficulties (as a result of the constant head trauma), they all have some remnant of their playing days.

survivor: rehab
from realityblurred --
The Smoking Gun has uncovered various drug-related information about three Survivor Pearl Islands cast members. While Christa Hastie's CBS bio mentions she "was once arrested for a misdemeanor and charged with 'disrupting an officer's ability to perform his duties,'" it doesn't mention that she posted messages about methamphetamine and "getting the most out of your cocaine" on publicly accessible newsgroups when she was in college. She's not alone: Morgan tribe member Ryan Shoulders posted about "the difficulty of scoring acid" and elsewhere about "tripping." Additionally, Christa's tribe mate Jon Dalton "was arrested last February by Los Angeles cops for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor," the site reports.
I guess after posting here, I'll never be elected to public office...

I think you're just describing it to too young a crowd. It was very popular at the time.

Another thing is that apparenlty a lot of the linebackers (?) turn into motherjumpin hugesters from continuing to overeat to the extreme without doing the exercise, and then die of obesity related shit by their late thirties and early forties. I know this from watching Real Sports.

The director's commentary option with Will, Luke and Vince is just great. I've never watched that option all the way through b/c it usually gets boring with other movies. Not with them.
And we get new terminology: "Six weeks ago Abdul here had a one way ticket to an arranged marriage with a broad he never met in Bangladesh. Now he's crushing ass every Thursday night at our mixers."
Crushing ass.

Anyway, last night's show was nothing great. There is some possibility that this will be played out soon because there are only so many tips they can give out... Carson dressed that guy horribly. Thom's rooms were less inspired than usual. Making a guy shuck oysters is cruel. And who really thought that he would be able to dance after one lame lesson that involved sliding across the floor on his knees? Really.
|
I enjoyed it as always. I thought the guy was just nice (his girlfriend had a horrible case of horse face syndrome, though -- that's where you have gums that are bigger and more prominent than you're fucking teeth; I don't know how that can be fixed, but someone needs to work on that). They hooked up his hair and really only bought him like one or two outfits. The clothes weren't really the point of the show last night. It can't always be about Carson. He bought the guy what he needed, which was shoes. Can't really model shoes.
That said, Jai did a crap job. He could have given him a few moves he could have done very easily at any club and looked cool. Think: simple. Hell, the guy's girlfriend couldn't even dance (I don't know why the hell she wanted to go out dancing all the time -- where do these people go who can't dance that they feel comfortable doing whatever the hell it is they do?). And besides Jai, those were the most nondancingest gay guys I've ever seen. Pathetic. I guess they were thrown off because Junior Vasquez wasn't spinning maybe?
Thom did a decent job with the space he had. I like the segmenting thing he does with the walls, although he needs some new tricks.
I didn't understand the raw bar thing. She didn't look like she loved them (or liked them very much) and she didn't even know how to eat them. I think they told him to suggest a raw bar.

This show is just mean. Kind of funny though. Interesting that it is on Spike TV and all the women are gorgeous. Coincidence? It think not.
|
I felt a little bad for the guy a number of times. But, hell. He had a good time while he was there. And they better have given him the fucking money at the end.
I can't believe how many times the actors fucked up. It can't be that hard to keep that many lies floating at once. Shit, I do it every day.
Favorite line:
Matt: I'm not here for the money.
Whoever: Than why ARE you here?
Matt: Because I had nothing else to do.

I read somewhere (can't remember where or I would post the link) that the cast and crew felt genuinely bad for Mr. Schmoo. Apparently he is a really nice guy, and everyone started feeling guilty about what they were doing to him.
