- Lots of blogs by people who are there.

- Bremer's reports.

- Poll results (although I still wonder about methodology).

- Economic data concerning increased productivity, employment, standards of living.

- Writings decrying our lack of success, but without facts provided to support such claims.

- Writings celebrating our success to date, with supporting facts and sources provided.

- Blogs by Iraqis.

- The Saudi Vitriolic Press, who can no longer point to anything concrete in their rantings about our presence in Iraq except to say that America will now finally have to accept the overall superiority of the S.A. system, and that they will help us in Iraq, but only after we make a great effort to apologize to them for our rudeness and impertinence.

- Anything by Sean Penn. Like the French Press, I think of him as a counter-barometer.

chicks dig my avatar, with or without hat. Some of the girlies like my hair so they need some "no hat" time now. but I do believe in avatar changes.

You probably figured they were sham inspections because they weren't finding anything, but you should re-examine that conclusion now . . . .

As gratifying as it is to know that you are well-informed, I was fishing for links.

With you on the wondering about poll methodology. ("In a poll of Iraqi citizens conducted by interviewing their bodyguards, . . . .")

BTW - Why is Dean so angry? NTTAWWT. He has had such an easy, nice life. There seems to be no reason.
Especially after that recent vacation he had to Hawaii.

Wait. What's that you say? He was there picking up remains that might be those of his dead brother? Spoilsport.

I see. You're saying it's a faith-based foreign policy. We just keep believing in the WMD, evidence or no.

that wasn't a photo op? he is a fucking opportunistic retard. I hope he gets the nomination so much, but in a way so that Nader still has to run.

And for years there would be recriminations about how Nader drove Dean from 2% down to 1% just because he was too egotistical to drop out.

It could be. Maybe he had his brother killed all those years ago, but set it up to look like he was murdered by the communist regime. Then I bet he paid off some Laotians to "find" the bones conveniently during his presidential bid. This sounds like something that Shape Shifter might be behind...

There might be something to that if his demeanor had changed upon learning that his brother's remains had been found or changed upon learning his brother was missing.

He certainly was this way before learning his brother's remains had been found. Perhaps it is all about his brother's death, but I get the feeling this guy has some problems that aren't related to that. I know many, many people who have suffered tragedies in their lives, including children killed or maimed by drunk drivers, relatives murdered, tragic diseases, but they aren't as angry as Dean comes across.

yes, like you. It is a fact he wouldn't let the inspectors go places, and we know he told Iraqui scientist to hide shit where he did let the inspectors go.
You were "faith based" that things were cool because Saddam said they were, and based upon the evidence that the guys who weren't allowed to look didn't find stuff.
I was faith based because if he didn't have them anymore*, why would he be fucking around like that.
* and by the way, taking your "faith" analogy, the question here isn't "does god exist?", the actual question would be"did god die?" ain't no one questioning the cheimcal weapons were once there.

Maybe Dean's not really angry, but is trying to play to the electorate.

Just like bilmore says Quayle wasn't really stupid. [JOKE]Presumably he was just playing to the Republican base.[/JOKE]

Lightbulb The WMD are in Syria

Until we search Syria, you just cannot say there are no WMDs.

The most interesting theory that I've heard so far - which is nothing more than a theory, it can't be proved - is that he was warned ahead of time by the Saudis. Now, who knows what the real situation is?
