(Even doctors.)
A person is conscious for 3 minutes after their head is severed? What kind of sick fuck figured that one out, and how?

Robby says, "bad news for Coltrane"

well, Mr. Perfect Chest Hair wrote back (!). Too bad the Internet wasn't around back when I worshipped Rick Springfield- I could have really been delusional about emailing him.

Here is what he said:

Thanks for watching me play Todd. I am sorry to saw
that i dont have any photos of what you are wanting.
just pics of me playing some tennis.

i am taking some time off but keep checking my site to
find out where i will be next. www.robbyginepri.com

peace-
rg

Peace, man. And peace to Minnie as well.

If I did parentheticals, which I dont, I would say, "wondering if Phillippoussis has his email on the web"

Well, it's not entirely clear whether or not they're conscious, but there's definitely some movement and shaking and physical reactions, long after the head has been severed. This is why so many people every year have to go to the ER after playing around with the heads of snakes after they've been just cut off. The snake will still bite a few minutes afterward. If you hack at a snake with a garden hoe, it does this weird dance thing once you've broken it's back, and then it dies.

R(usually lets someone else kill the snake because she's paralyzed with fear)T

Of what you are wanting? Did Robby go to school, or did he get "tutoring" in English so that he could spend more time on the practice courts? He is an American player, yes?

Maybe he meant wanting as in deficient and was mocking paigow for her lack of chest hair. Nah, probably not.

Bullshit, says the rational mind. Maybe, say people who have been in rooms with exceptionally fresh heads. "[T]he fatal blow in a beheading induces immediate unconsciousness, even though the brain may not actually expire for several minutes." But, there are anecdotal accounts contra. Spree: Second link very much not for the faint of heart (no pics), but work appropriate in this sick, sick world we live in.

On a side note, why does it seem wrong to me to write "if she were slender and he were tubby" but it also seems wrong to write "if she were slender and he was tubby"?

I am assuming that "isn't" in the quoted sentence was supposed to be "is."
When I wrote: "he's not fat and she isn't," I meant the "isn't" to be read as "she isn't not fat." She's also significantly older than he is (I'd guess 10 years). They're just a strange, apparently very happy couple. In any event, Dan Band fuckin rocks.

What did you ask for pictures of, exactly?

See, I'm not quite sure, based on all the rumors, that it was a clean cut, so I'm thinking that there probably was suffocation first, THEN decapitation, but I wasn't there, and someone else was, so we'll probably have to go with her deep, deep in therapy word. Or the autopsy report.

Can Jun gain anymore weight?
Has Alison put on about 20 lbs. in the stomach?
PBandJ is fattening.
Who will Alison choose to axe?
I'll set forth my uninformed (by internet live-feed updates) guess, and say that:

Alison uses the veto on herself.
Jun puts up Robert.
Erika votes to evict Robert.
Alison votes to evict Jee.
Jun breaks the tie by voting to evict Jee.

One can safely say that the level of sophistication in the game-playing abilities of the contestants has gone way up over the previous years. Everyone is always thinking about the end game, who they want to be with, etc. etc. We were led to believe that that aspect of the game was never discussed or thought about until the Final 3 in previous years. Hats off to this group for that.

Voyons.

In an effort to sound less stalky, I said that I had only written one other tennis player as I had been at school with him. I now realize this may make me sound more stalky. Then I said, if things dont work out with Minnie, you know where to reach me. I should have inserted the Thurgreed emoticon, but I dont do emoticons so I didnt.

I think I just blew it with Robby. SIGH.

That's fucking cool.

Poll: What was the head trying to say?

My answer: "Could you hit 13 for me? Thanks."

Shit. I left out the hyphen between year and old, and now I can't go back and fix it because people are watching.

I told Robby that my friends and I were debating who had the most perfect chest hair and I said he did, or seemed to as best as one could tell fro a quick change o shirt during a changeover, and that I could not locate any topless shots of him on the web and did he have any?

Therefore, you can imagine the shock I experienced when he actually replied. He is clearly in the early stages of his fame. Soon there will be beefcake shots and bizarro email to go. I just hope he remembers ole paigow. An original chest hair fan. kind of like how I banged slave before he did everything in "site".

FYI - Mohegan Sun is closing their Poker Room. Foxwoods is staying open.

Nope, you're wrong and Paigow is right. When Nathan used the power of veto to get Allison off the block, Dana (HOH) had to nominate someone else and she picked Dave.

So if Allison saves herself, Jun picks the new person. Which is why I don't understand her strategy at all. Why nominate someone who has the veto?
Jun did it this way (nominating Alison instead of nominating Robert) so that Alison wouldn't veto Jee or Robert. This way she's sure to get to her desired two -- Jee and Robert. I think it's a smart move.

And to answer RP's post, golden POV is different from regular POV from previous years because holder of golden POV can't be nominated that week.

And I may be a big geek for knowing this minutae, but I'm joined in my geekdom by my fiancee, who remarked during last night's episode, "Jun now looks as fat as Hollywood (meaning Jamie from BB1)." So I take solace.
