No, no and no. They look normal to me.

I can't imagine wearing jeans or pants that didn't sit low now. I hate the look of pants at the waist for women.
|
I like them lower, but not low. No butt cleavage, please. Luckily a lot of places now carry women's pants and jeans in the mid rise height. Agree that pants that go all the way up to the waist feel quite unnatural on me now.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

You sure? I think I still have my M Alba Santa Cruz board.
Unfortunately, it has both Slimeball wheels and Gullwing trucks.

[spoiler warning in case anyone cares]
He picked Jessica and did not propose but did tell her that he loved her. She said she couldn't ask for anything more, gush, gush, etc. He gave her a one-way first class ticket to NYC.
Then they brought Tara in and he did the 5 minute schpeil about how great she is. She added "But" and then he said he fell in love with someone else. The best part of the show followed when she told him off for leading her on and said that things were said and done on the last date that were "inappropriate" if he was planning to pick someone else. She spent about 5 minutes telling him off and then didn't break down or anything in the limo. She came off pretty well actually. I have no opinion of her from the remainder of the season because I only started watching last week.
|
Then you missed the fact that she's psycho. With a capital P. Her father brought guns to their "home" date. She wouldn't let him kiss her and when he did kiss her (since he macked with everyone) she said it made her feel uncomfortable. And I told you not to do that. Criminey - it's 2004 not 1954 - get with the program - I know your father is overprotective, but at 21 you need to give it up.

Did he smoke? My beloved ANdy did not smoke and I understand that his lung cancer would not have been triggered by cig smoke anyway, he had some rare kind.

showbiz moms and dads
Any thoughts on the update show? I found it interesting to see how the various families dealt with the spin of the show and the new-found celebrity (all 15 minutes of it).
[spoilers follow]
The Klingensmiths for all of their nuttiness came off pretty well in the update, with the mom at least recognizing that she looked bossy and controlling on the show.
On the other hand, good ole Momma Tye didn't seem to get as much of a lesson about herself as she could have. It is sad that people (with apparently even less of a life than she has) are cyberstalking her, but that seems to have given her some excuse in her own mind for her own wretched behavior while the cameras were on her.
I just felt sorry for blonde Jordan's mom. The botched Colorado move will be lorded over her by Jordan for the rest of her life I'm sure.
Duncan Nutter. Nothing to say. What a loon.
Great reality show. One of the most entertaining ever. For those who missed it, I recommend putting the reruns on Tivo.

Ty would always wear a T-shirt so that his boxers don't show. He is in litigation for goodness sakes. Here look:

OTOH, I shared this view with my wife this a.m., and she opined that I always wear pants low. OK, now I have completed outed myself, so I may as well mention that it is my custom to wear cargo kilts and matching kerchiefs on casual Fridays. Carry on.

I have a pair of what I think are almost identical BR pants, which is just a really freaky coincidence. Like, scary freaky. If I learn that someone else on this board also has purchased flat front wool pants from BR, I am going to reconsider my skepticism about the existence of a higher being. Anyhoo, I do not think they sit too low at all - I think they fit fine.

WARNING: I do not think it will be long before The Paigow proclaims the whole responding-to-a-post-with-funny-pictures-from-the-internet-supposedly-depicting-the-poster schtick to be way past its sell-by date.

I like the Dawsons. Nice, simple pants.
