Agree with Office Space, but the Stiller Theorem doesn't hold water. I offer Meet the Parents and Dodgeball as evidence.

Zoolander cracks me up. I would not pay to see it, but I always watch it when it's on tv.

While my sister has considered putting him onthe Revolta list, I referred her to his great ouevre including Flirting With Disaster, Meet the Parents and the Curb appearances, so no.

I saw Not Another Teen Movie and it had one funny bit, and I had already seen it in the previews- "Anthony Micahel Hall". Thats it. THe movie blew.

I got my money back for Deuce Bigalow Male Gigolo. Or maybe it was the one where Schenieder is some kind of animal idiot savant? Or did he not make such a movie? I cant remember.

Bastard. My BMI goes over 24 and I'm sending you a pair of new, ginormous, grandma-fat-lady panties in the mail.
Your brand of narcissism is only slightly less overt than sunny's, but I assure you it can be equally annoying.

Did Rob Schneider's career reach its apex as the Copier Guy?

I dunno about Dodgeball - it was amusing enough but total crapola compared to, say, Baseketball, in the "dumb silly-sport movies." (Though the Mr. tries to convince me that Baseketball is the most profound commentary on the destruction of sports at the hands of professionals ever made.)

And, while it is no Office Space, Something About Mary was pretty damn funny. It's not fair to compare anything to Office Space - it is one of those defining Ur movies for our generation, like South Park, and nothing is really comparable.

Still, I, too, reject the Stiller Theorem. I quite liked Zoolander - I'm shocked they didn't get sued by Karl Lagerfeld and Anna Wintour. (Not to mention John Galliano and Dior, 'cause they totally knocked off his 2000 collection.)

The last place I'd want to be drunk (on a long list of places) is on a plane.

It is also the second-to-last place I'd want to be grieviously hung over. Last place is the partner's office trying to explain the status of an emergency project I am coordinating, which is exactly where I found myself all too recently.

etf all kinds of fuckups

This implies that you paid money to see a Rob Schneider movie, which cannot be correct. Please revise for clarity.

So as part of my son's social studies curriculum, each kid is having a representative (or representatives) of his or her family come it to talk about something. It can be anything really; your family's hobbies, family history, your job, whatever.

So, it's my turn this Friday, and of course I have the problem that any of us would have -- namely, our jobs are lame and boring, and kindergardeners could not care less about what lawyers do --but I have an additional hurdle: last week's visitor.

Last week's person was the father of a girl in the class. He's a secret service agent. So, not only did he show them his gun, the baton thing that shoots out of a handle, the handcuffs, the microphone-up-the-sleeve, and a bunch of other gadgets, but he gave them all presidential trading cards, stickers, little "Big Apple - Secret Service" badges (my son wore his all weekend) and a signed photo of GWB. But that's not all!!! He led the kids downstairs, where there was a bevy of secret service agents guarding the presidential limousine. The street had been closed off, and all the kids got to go through the limousine.

I mean, come on!! How am I supposed to follow that?!?

I work in a bank, so my only hope is to hand out $100 bills and tell them how we play Liar's Poker all day long. And then take them to Hawaii on a private jet that I have waiting on the street outside.
You aint toast. Stroll in late with your steaming latte and explain that while Mr. Secret Service Man runs his ass ragged all day you sit back in a comfortable chair trading bon mots over the Internet all day and get paid 4 times the amount Mr. SS Man does. Then, dramatically slough off your fur coat revealing those beautiful shoulders and explain that Personal Trainers come with YOUR job and not Mr. SS's. At this point, you would distribute printouts of gunfire victims obtained from rotten.com, explaining that Mr. SS's job is to purposefully jump out and try to become one of those gruesome victims even if it meant just protecting [and here you'd show a picture of a monkey and wink; this should be o.k., since you presumably associate with elite liberals with a naughty sense of humor].

So, what time are you going on? Address please?

Oh yes. I forgot that one. I am in heated agreement with you on this one. There's another one I'm forgetting -- I think I'll have to go over to imdb and get back to y'all.

Duh! The Royal Tenenbaums -- that's the one I was trying to remember, but imdb reminded me of another one: Anchorman -- The Legend of Ron Burgundy.

All this and Something About Mary -- no way is he the Angel of Death for Funny.

You and mmmm should get together and have a kid. Think of the fun kindergarten class days! Kindergarteners are so impressed by money, luxury goods, and physical fitness! I'm just a-tingle with excitement myself.

We were in Times Square with a couple of hours to kill and it was freezing. Plus, I thought the preview with the Tourette's chick looked really funny.

I thumbs down Royal Tenenbaums. I also want to thumbs down Anchorman, but I saw (the first part) on an airplane and was not amused. Hoepfully it didnt suck as bad as I thought it did.
