One thing that has always baffled me is how PLF fans insist on describing his posts as "clever," when I always thought a better adjective was "subversive."

How about "grody?"
Coming off a non-athletic triumph tonight (near 70% bridge game), I thought I'd start a poll: best and worst personal athletic moments?
Mine: (Tie) Bowling a 222, and scoring a game-winning basket in sudden-death overtime basketball (yeah goofy lawyers'-league rules).
Worst: Having a falling out with my Ultimate teammates over playing time during my senior year and deciding to go captain the "B" team, thus missing out on our run to coming within a point of the national semi-finals.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

Shit, I just want to bang him and throw out whatever compliments I believe will get me closer to that objective.

You should go out and buy yourself a chainsaw. And a lumberjack shirt. And a gigantic penis.

So Lemme get this straight... You dump the cat who's on Everest and are all hot and bothered for the presently embittered prince of the plaid pants crowd?
PLF is like the Jack Nicholson of the FB. Always good, but showing his years. I fear his Chinatown years have passed...

Clever was 2000 and 2001, subversive was 2003, it's banal now. In a good sense.

It's like going from Sir Edmund Hillary to a combination of Dave Eggers and the nerd from American Splendor.

Hillary was impotent. Its a well known fact he engaged in those adventures in a Hemingwayesque attempt to compensate.

Well, I think we've gotten to the "root" of Sunny's problem, then.
