Talking about that shit and putting it on your resume means you're using it for mileage, which means its not really charity - its a business expense. Chucking that shit at me to impress me about how good a person you are is wasted breath and will sink you. I may have reading comp issues, but I can spot an asshole pretty quick.
I thought the point of a resume was to list your education, accomplishments, and activities in an attempt to impress the reader. It's like criticizing Str8 for putting Yale on his resume because it comes off as all braggy and shit.

If she REALLY knew me, she would have lied and said she had 3, but nobody's perfect.

You are such a trap for recruits. If you were interviewing me, I woul dhave no idea the route to go with you is tone down the glorious inveterate accomplishments, and talk about how it sucks that one has to choose between Apprentice- Martha and Americas Next Top Model. (Of course, that is turning into a no brainer). You should have asked her this followup qusetion, What will yo do with your first enormous paycheck? (answer? downpayment on HD 64 plasma tv)

ETA: Fuck!

Interviewers know I'm cool just from meeting me. Plus I also tell them every other sentence, when I'm not crying or wetting myself.

Or both at the same time? Don't hide your light under a bushel, Flinty.

Isn't crying just another way of wetting yourself?

Think about it.

Last time I checked, I lived on a continent. I lived on an island for a while, but that was like ten years ago, and only for a year or so. I'm pretty much continental through and through.

That is ridiculous. Martha is re-shown a bazillion times on CNBC so you set the downstairs tivo to record some friday 11 pm showing of that, you tivo America's Next Top Model in its actual time slot and you watch Lost live. That's if you're trapped in the stone age like me and don't have a dual recorder on your tivo b/c you still don't have digital cable. Oh, and you record Veronica Mars on the upstairs tivo.

I woudn't hire any recruit that didn't know how to solve that elementary television puzzle.

I just wanted to punch him once. I don't really know why... I guess I was thinking "How in the hell can you fire me?"

I had a bit of an arrogance problem as a kid.

Yeah, but he's really raw and street. I bet he doesn't wear Dockers to RT's pansy little art museum parties. Or if he does, they probably have, like, blood stains on them or a rip in the crotch area or something like that.

PLF, I have thought about it, and you are right yet again. You were wrong about those plaid pink flat front pants, I couldn't pull it off, but you are right about this. Thanks.
