I am not cooking this year.

Shocking, I know, given my reputation of all-around domestic goddess.

I am glad I am not sunny, b/c my hands and wrists hurt from painting and I think I would be unable to give a hand job if my life depended on it.

ETA if someone would bring me a small (but not THAT small) bowl of whatever they use to fill the chocolate croissants at Starbucks, I would appreciate it.

Are you serving pompano Pontchartrain en papillotte? Word of advice: don't eat the bag.

What's that word for book deals that never sell enough copies to cover the advance? Does the author have to pay back a portion of the advance in that situation?

This has absolutely nothing to do with the size of Matt Hasselbeck's penis

Usually not, but it depends on the contract.

"Guarantee" would be a better term than "advance"

Dammit. I'm not cooking either. I was hoping for an invite to the newly painted place. Probably just as well, since you didn't hire a hot guy to paint the place and paint fumes give me a raging headache.

So, how did it turn out?

It's not done. It's going well. I'm really sick of paint.

For the FB Guys

Car (not the girl) for sale on Ebay.
  • Certified Preowned Loaded V-12 BMW 750iL in excellent condition, low mileage, aerospace engineer owned, garage kept, dealer maintained and still under warantee. Recently serviced with new tires, new brakes, navigation, clear corner lights and M-Parallel chrome wheels. Home remodel forces sale, my loss is your gain. If you agree with me that the new 7 series looks like a Maxima then this is your chance to own the best example of an e38 body style you will ever find. Originally priced at over $92,000! Before I owned this car I couldn't get a date to save my life. Now, I am dating a beautiful Russian model. No more Star Trek conventions and Dungeon's and Dragons for me!

Wonder if the Russian chick will leave him after the auction.

Then what you're saying is that it's going about as well as can be expected.

Okay, I'll admit it. I missed you.

eta: p.s., I once stood at a line of urinals with David Manning.
