I was nonplussed by the fact that his chest hair seemed to clash with the stark whiteness of his flesh. Considering this guy looks quite a lot like my ex betrothed, it squicked me. |

That reminds me that Austin Powers has been on a lot lately. Although I know his repulsiveness is part of the joke, I don't find it amusing. He's just repulsive. |

GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) -- A woman who told police she wanted to be a "cool mom" pleaded guilty to sexual assault charges Monday for having sex with high school boys at parties where authorities said she supplied drugs and alcohol.
Silvia Johnson, 40, pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of sexual assault and nine felony counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. As part of a plea agreement, prosecutors dropped two counts of distribution of methamphetamine.
"She described herself as a `cool mom,'" Detective R.J. Vander Veen wrote in the affidavit. He said Johnson told investigators "she was never popular with classmates in high school and now began `feeling like one of the group.'"
Johnson, who is free on bail, held parties for the boys almost weekly between October 2003 and October 2004, authorities said. She was accused of providing drugs and alcohol to eight boys and having sex with five of them.
Shoot, in our HS Shape Shifter's mom got elected Homecoming queen. she earned it, but still.

Mike Myers = most overrated comedian ever. Austin Powers has some funny moments, but on the whole, its a shitass cutesy franchise. And somebody shoot Seth Green, please. Where did that jagoff get a career? I assume he's the nephew of some big producer, no?
BTW, "The Wedding Crashers" is really fucking funny. Not "Old School" funny, but close.

True. That is a great movie. And his Sprockets bit was hysterical. But Wayne's World and Austin never really worked for me.

The first Austin Powers really wasn't that terrible. You have to admit that it was different. We've just been bombarded by terrible Sequels.
Don't get me wrong, it wasn't great by any stretch, but it was (but probably isn't anymore due to oversaturation) 1000x more watchable than Wayne's World.

But the first Austin Powers was decent because it was (relatively) novel. It was dragged down immensely by the scatology of the two sequels. |
