Whoa. Heavy. I guess that's why some people refer to crying as "pissing on your face though your eyes." I'd never thought about that before.

That's if you're trapped in the stone age like me and don't have a dual recorder on your tivo b/c you still don't have digital cable. Oh, and you record Veronica Mars on the upstairs tivo.
I woudn't hire any recruit that didn't know how to solve that elementary television puzzle.

This sounds some like my Tuesday night puzzle. I resolved it by watching Boston Legal (Heather Locklear's eye shadow was a total trainwreck), taping SVU, and setting the VCR (no tivo chez diva, let alone digital cable) to tape Nip/Tuck during its Friday replay. Phew!

My Tivo has been picking up ANTM at crazy random times. Can you let me know where they are in real time?
SPOILER
Last night, Pretty Gene got eliminated. But my tivo is taping like six more episodes this week or something. Am I caught up or what is going on here?
Doesn't Kim look like a perfect blend of Angelina Jolie, Isabella Rosellini and Christina Ricci?
And doesnt looking at Nigel Barker jsut give you the creeps? When he sat down for the first judging, he was grinning like a wolf about to attack a bunch of lambs. I think he also would like to bang Twiggy. How many contestants has he fucked?
I will admit he is sexy in a noirish, statuory rape kinda way.

His caustic wit and razor-sharp repartee kept the boards alive through many a dull k race or Paigow/Slave scratch-your-eyes-out-bitch marathon. And now, look at what's become of him. Hanging out at the Port Authority bus terminal, spewing out I'm-rubber-you're-glue retorts while he waits for his mama to throw him her castoffs.
I blame a life lived too long in the white-hot light of the wonder and the glory that are dtb and gwinky. No mere mortal could hold up in that rarified environment for too long.
Or perhaps it was his miserably failed attempt to carry off TMBD III. Once the people realized he couldn't deliver without the goodwill of the Betties, they smelled blood. When NFH declared the breasticle boycott, he was toast.
Oh well. Never let it be said that we don't take care of our own. I hereby pledge to fund Lawtalkers for a week for every photo of Thurgreed being fed a meal by a topless FBetty between now and Thanksgiving. Dig deep, people. Let's not let this tragicomic legend be lost forever.
Ladies, get out those crockpots and bare two for the Man Who Once Called Paigow Whackadoo.

I have two unread PMs but only one shows up in my inbox (some old one from my main man, Slavaroo). Has someone I am ignoring PMed me? This is puzzling.

Yes. That is what happened.
I can't help you with who it might be, though.

Flinty, let me start by saying how personal your post seemed to me. Your willingness to risk redundance by specifically addressing me even though it was already fairly clear that you were replying to me as you were quoting my post in your reply did not go unnoticed. As for your pants issue, I believe your issue is with Sebastian the Noble Anonymous Giver. My plaid pants are always pleated, and never pink.

dtb, I refer you to my reply to Flinty's post, specifically the first two sentences, although you are certainly welcome to read the third and fourth sentences as well.

TV question
Invasion. Pro or con?
Someone on the elevator was talking about it and said the pilot was good, but I have no idea what her definition of "good" is.
Aside from Arrested Devlopment and Lost and Rome (which I still haven't seen but is nicely residing on my Tivo) I'm not really watching anything right now. Anything else new that's any good?
