ltl/fb: again, if "not technically overweight (yet)" translates to "I'm so hot," he needs to readjust his standards. Besides, chubby chicks may be hot, while others need an OK figure so the high point a personal ad wouldn't consist of "smart girl who got very good grades and can set a table for service a la Russe."

I agree. One of the worst movies ever. Every character in that movie is an ass, including the girlfriend. Interesting that the climactic scene involved a huge pile of stinking crap.

Disagree. Christopher Walken and all things Walken-related are Lebowski on the humor scale.

Maybe his definition of narcicissm isn't limited to a belief in one's own cuteness.

Uh... if you say so, Mr. Happy Pants.

I thought it was one of the only DeNiro movies in the last 10-15 years in which he didn't annoy the piss out of me. Owen Wilson, however, did, and I usually like him.

That said, "so much love, and yet so much information" was a great line.

Let me guess, you don't love Lebowski either?

The Stiller Oeuvre

Agree with Office Space, but the Stiller Theorem doesn't hold water. I offer Meet the Parents and Dodgeball as evidence.
When Mr. Stiller has someone strong to play off of, or when he is not the main character, he is hysterical. By contrast, too much Stiller is not a good thing (which is why Zoolander is less than the sum of its very good parts).

Reality Bites. Very funny (the look on Winona's face when she sees the edited version of her film is hysterical). I also loved Stiller's attempted takedowns of pretentiously dirty (and annoying) Ethan Hawke.

Flirting With Disaster. Tea Leoni. Nuff said.

Dodgeball. "Joannie loves Chachi!" made the movie.

There's Something About Mary. Stiller forced to play the normal guy. The Farrelly Brothers. A (God, I wish she still looked that hot -- why doesn't she look like that anymore?) Cameron Diaz as Mary. Jonathan Richman as the troubadour. Matt Dillon loving his work with the retards. Good times, good times.

Come on -- the Owen Wilson character was hilarious. I thought Blythe Danner and Stiller were pretty good too.

Good point. And because the two folks on this board I consider to be narcissist are also mental midgets, I will provide this definition, courtesy of dictionary. com, to clarify what is meant by the term:

nar·cis·sism ( P ) Pronunciation Key (närs-szm) also nar·cism (-szm)
n.

A psychological condition characterized by self-preoccupation, lack of empathy, and unconscious deficits in self-esteem.

In "Heat," neither DeNiro nor Pacino annoyed the piss out of me.

That would be a fair cop, since I'm certainly a vain creature, but then I'm at a loss as to why the particular post raised his hackles or why he cited Sunny.

Not that I care, I'm just bored out of my mind, and am now similarly afflicting everyone else on the board, so I'll stop.

Incidentally, locking oneself in one's office to devour a piece of cake is a very nice way to break up the afternoon.

Agree. But he was the only funny part about that movie. The rest of it was just painful, and not in a good way like David Brent.
