Nice euphemism.

Water quietly lapping in the reeds along the bank? Check.
Nothing amiss here."

No reason. I just don't like it. They cut it too loose. makes you look like you're wearing a pirate puffy shirt... or you're decorating someone's living room with your assistant, Bruce, and your muse, Lance.*

*Not Lance Armstrong. Think Hank Azaria in The Birdcage.

ETA - A lot of fat old men seem to fancy linen also.

ETA2 - Linen looks good on drunks and Peter O'Toole. Its also OK if you're the governor of a Carribean protectorate.

The royalties from that tie are helping to pay for the afternoon drinks for some retired Fusiliers, so feel good about wearing it.

Indeed he has. I feel bad about my uniball comment because I did not know, until I just googled, that his cancer had spread to his stomach, lungs, and brain, because he didn't seek attention when his symptoms first appeared, and even ignored the coughing-up-blood symptom for a while. Now it just feels wrong to mock Lance, even though he, those ubiquitious yellow bracelets, and the people who wear them are all rather annoying.
HGH causes cancer in the strangest places.

Ehhh. Nothing that hard work, anabolic steroids, and EPO can't overcome.

Fucking him will make you no less sick of his face... unless you favor the reverse cowgirl.

Sunday Night

So, will NFL on NBC suck as badly as the Notre Dame coverage?

And where will John Madden be in 2006?

or doggie? Which is quite traditional for the sodomy, I believe.

otoh, reverse cowgirl does not seem like a very traditional position for the sodomy.

Aha! So that's how "fusiliers" is spelled! Thanks, Ty.

With Bob Costas involved, you can assume the worst. I remember when CBS took over from NBC however long ago that was. I did dances for joy.

Probably, yes.

Hopefully ESPN will hire actual talent to do play-by-play and color.
Rather than the fiasco called the Dennis Miller experiment. Who the hell thought that would be a good idea.

And can I just say for the 10 billionth time how much I hate this man?

Nobody, absolutely nobody makes me scream to "shut up" more than this man. And he can't even hear me. Who pays this guy? Why does he suck so hard? I guess all those years playing (or not playing) in Portland makes him a little biased.

Who IS that man, and why does he have the peel from an albino orange in his mouth?

He bears the most responsibility for why I don't watch the NBA anymore.
