How many suits do you buy that you'd order them online? I might buy a few a year and the experience is fun, plus feeling the material and seeing it on- I don't see how saving an hour or even a little money outweights that.

I buy suits fairly rarely and have never bought one on-line. I had one made for me in Hong Kong a ways back and have thought about ordering another to the same specs, but haven't done that. I agree that trying them on is fun, except that I have small children, which makes the experience less fun. I was trying to say that I'm curious about Tyrwhitt but would want to try one of their suits on before making a purchase and they don't have a store here.

When I fight I have multiple posts on the same subject ad nauseum until everyone is sick to death of the level of minutae contained in the posts and just scrolls past (other than my arguee, hopefully). Yes, the TM School of Internet Lawyer Chatboard Arguing.
You looking for a fight, bitch?

Ignore NotBob. If anyone were to listen to him, this whole board would be about sunshine, lollipops and curtseys.

Sigh. I miss paigow.

Kidding aside (although I do, in fact, miss paigow), you know perfectly well that that's not what I meant. Maybe it's just because I am the king of the nicey-nice, but it seems like folks are acting a wee bit more mean-spirited lately.

Whatever. I don't own this place, and all y'all are adults, so it's probably more than a little bit presumptous of me to act like a hall monitor. I'll stop my lecturing. Carry on.

Compliment

This partner (under-40 woman) just told me while I was getting my herbal tea (hi ncs) that I have the best most amazing clothes ever. Isn't that nice?

I am available for fashion advice for a small fee.

Of course, you run the risk of causing them to ask "what's this guy from podunkville dressing like a foppish Brit for?"

To clarify, I don't want the ridiculously wide spreads -- if that's all those two places carry, I'll go with something from Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, much beloved by high school guidance counselors and middle management dweebs.

Are Ferregamo a better bet? or Hermes which are ridiculously expensive. Damn. This is like that stupid will I look like a tool with a Burberry scarf and a Burberry trench coat on? ack.

And where can I get reasonable cuff links for women not including silk knots. Those are 10 bucks.

Oh, please don't go there.
