Wasn't the official turnout 99% in the previous Iraqi regime?

Wasn't mine a good bumper sticker? I just thought it up driving home in my new SUV. Maybe I'll make some and sell them.
Oh. and I saw a good one the other day that I hadn't seen before.

Poor Kevin.
He was getting to be so . . . even-handed, and thoughtful for a while there. He would make intelligent posts about well-thought-out points.
And now he's doing cartoons.
(I note that he's carefully (for the last twenty-four hours) avoiding saying bad things about the election that everyone poo-poohed for weeks earlier, but he's making sure he throws enough snide, but oblique, stuff in to save his cred with the hard-corp DU'ers. I think it's called reinsurance.)

The Du'ers are scared that good might actually happen.

Read this, it's incredible. Kerry with his, "yeah but..." on the vote? If the election were held today he loses Michigan over that. The Arab vote was not heavy either way. With that shit he gets 10% of it. I just want Pelosi or someone to quote Ty's article! after midterms I bet I can get a Judge postion. Hell, Fluffy will be acceptable to the Senate in 2007.

Come to think of it, that whole Vietnam thing would have worked out if the New York Times and the rest of the liberal media hadn't been so defeatist. All we need to do is think happy thoughts, and everything will be OK.

What scares me here is that you, an above-average-intelligence, well-informed professional, typed that out with a chuckle.

I really don't believe that you're scared of much of anything. And that scares me.

I could have told you this without conducting the study
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...nence_texas_dc

Texas Teens Increased Sex After Abstinence Program
2 hours, 7 minutes ago Health - Reuters
HOUSTON (Reuters) - Abstinence-only sex education programs, a major plank in President Bush (news - web sites)'s education plan, have had no impact on teenagers' behavior in his home state of Texas, according to a new study.
Despite taking courses emphasizing abstinence-only themes, teenagers in 29 high schools became increasingly sexually active, mirroring the overall state trends, according to the study conducted by researchers at Texas A&M University.
"We didn't see any strong indications that these programs were having an impact in the direction desired," said Dr. Buzz Pruitt, who directed the study.
The study was delivered to the Texas Department of State Health Services, which commissioned it.
The federal government is expected to spend about $130 million to fund programs advocating abstinence in 2005, despite a lack of evidence that they work, Pruitt said.
|
Of course, they'll go ahead and commission the abstinance programs anyways, and then claim that we Dems are the ones that don't know how to use government dollars on domestic programs wisely.

I would have thought you'd view that as a positive thing.

Kerry finally admits
see the transcript this week?
"MR. RUSSERT: And you have a hat that the CIA agent gave you?
SEN. KERRY: I still have the hat that he gave me, and I hope the guy would come out of the woodwork and say, "I'm the guy who went up with John Kerry. We delivered weapons to the Khmer Rouge on the coastline of Cambodia." We went out of Ha Tien, which is right in Vietnam. We went north up into the border. And I have some photographs of that, and that's what we did. So, you know, the two were jumbled together, but we were on the Cambodian border on Christmas Eve, absolutely."
Um, the Khmer Rouge was the other side, you fucking nitwit. If you're gonna make up shit, at least get the right side of the damn war.

I gotta wonder, is it possible that Kerry was delivering AKs to Bubba on that mission? I think the Khmer Rouge were allied with China at the time. This is sooo all coming together now.

Kerry's latest Old Europe seduction:
"Throughout Europe, as I met with European leaders, it's clear that they're prepared to do more, but the [Bush] administration has not put the structure together for people to be able to do it," he said."
"Structure"? What, they don't know where to send the checks? I can give them an address, if they're confused.
Oh, wait . . "structure"! They want to know when they can resume buying below-wholesale oil! Damn, they just need to speak more clearly.
