notes, etc. were long gone, but I held onto my books until the last move. I have a crazy friend who thinks that law school books would be perfect for the library room she doesn't have (non-lawyer, obviously), so she took all my law school books off my hands. I think they are sitting in her garage gathering dust. Or maybe in a closet somewhere.
Notes?

Also, some of the stuff in there could be good for blackmail purposes.
I have a similar box. I go through it maybe once a year, and I can't think of much that I've thrown away from it.

My mom also has a box of that stuff. When my siblings and I were going through it to find blackmail for her 60th birthday party, we found a letter typed by my 10-year-old self asking in the most formal language I could muster if we could go to Astroworld. My siblings thought it was the funniest thing they had ever seen. I closed the letter with "please consider the situation."

I deserved to end up a lawyer.

aside: sunny may want to look up the definition of "unaccompanied."

Actually, at home I don't answer the phone unless I know who is calling, and then frequently I still don't answer it unless I really feel like talking to that person, which is rare, so I doubt I would ever encounter those circumstances.
I've got a new avatar for you, GWNC:

Even if she can, and she may be able to if focusing sufficiently and will try to test that as soon as possible, she will want head too. Or at least hand. Anyway, some kind of assisted orgasm.

ETA if Coltrane comes to my house, he can leave when we're done. No need to sleep over.

Yeah, my sense is a lot of these are scams. The FOP is a legitimate organization, but that doesn't mean teh fundraiser is actually connected to them. THe times someone from the "FOP" has called, they've been unwilling to provide anything by mail to confirm who in fact they are.
Right you are. My local police and fire departments go out of their way to notify people that neither they nor their union/fraternal organizations solicit, yet we still get calls. I had one guy call me at the office from some nameless organization (not the FOP), then when I questioned the authenticity of his organization and suggested they mail me something he got all mouthy with me. Naturally I hang up if they refuse to prove to me they are legitimate.

Oh, God, yes. We're talking about a totally outrageous paradigm.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

I have cable, but we are veering from the topic at hand, which is that I need an income from a source other than my current one.

Every now and then the guys at the fire station will hit an intersection and hold out their boots for donations. I have no idea if they're just asking for contributions towards the keg or for the burned fire fighters relief fund.

It seems pretty desperate, though, to compete with the guy selling the paper.

And just say "fuck", for chrissakes.
ANd i susppose the reaction this time of "wondering about the choices I've made" had a very upbeat feel to it. F*ck nut.
