The other thing is that seafood tends to look like what it is on the plate and that just "bothers" me.
I don't like milk and never have. As I grew older I got into the "we are the only species that drinks the milk of another" thing. Now, I just don't drink it. Cowsmilk should be drunk by baby cows.
Eggs. There is a stringy umbilical cord in there --- ewwww. I know people who have cracked open eggs to find little embryos or blood. Nope, just never interested in eggs. As a child I apparently would eat the white part but only if it was not cooked with the yolk, and it had to be burned with lots of pepper. Yes chickens will lay eggs anyway, but not in the quantity that they are forced to do so for commerical purposes. A normal laying hen lives at most one year. Free range is fine, I just to don't eat eggs.
To each his own. For the record, my husband is a strict carnivore -- potatoes and corn are the only vegetables I can get him to eat.

Any potential kayaking notwithstanding, you lead the most boring life ever. Don't travel. Don't eat. Six beers a night in front of the t.v. Sex with husband with no length or girth. Missionary 3 out of every 4 times. Good god, woman. Live a little.

You forgot to add that she doesn't like nekkid people.
Not even the red underwear lady. That's like pissing on the Mona Lisa.

Indeed. Except of course, there is hemp, which is the best thing ever - it's a food (I eat it every day), it's clothing (my wedding dress was part hemp) and grown the right way, it contains an excellent thing called THC, which makes you feel very happy. The perfect plant. (Plus, when you buy it you support hardworking Canadian farmers - (those in Saskatchewan/Manitoba, who grow the THC-free stuff) and those in BC, who grow the good stuff)
Edited to note that I appear to be DS/BRC today. Except I don't think I look good in Miss Marple clothes.

You overlooked the thrill of being responsible for all housework, yard work and child care.
On the other hand, all of this makes me grateful for my life. Kind of like seeing people with six screaming kids at Target.

1. It's likely just coincidental, but there is a famous painting with the same name as your old GF.
2. Some things should not be shared.

Most of the time, yes. But that is only because the US is so fucked up about cannibis that the only people who use the fiber are freaky-pro-hemp people trying to make a political point. They're right, it's a great fiber, but those people tend not to be the best fashion designers.
I for one, though, would love to get a hemp suit for the Mr. - much like linen but more body and less wrinkly. GWNC, if you have a link to a site of one of those Canadian producers who has some nice hemp suits, let me know.

Only catch is that I still am often too chicken to wear everyday hats, though my wedding/church hats have gotten extremely elaborate. Besides, hats are a total bitch to store in NYC, they take up some serious space if you keep them well. How, I ask you, are you to store a bonnet with 14 inch trailing pheasant feathers when you don't have enough space to cram in more socks? (No, seriously, how, I just ordered one.) Hint on hat buying wherever you are: go to the nearest African-American neighborhood and ask where to find "church hats" (you can even go on Sunday and ask a church lady wearing a hat you admire).
BR(Alternatively, I can e-mail you some good websites with hats of varying levels of outrageousness)C

BRC, you are seriously on my serious crush list. Seriously.

Vegans wear shoes made of imitation leather. As well as imitation leather watchbands and purses (as the case may be). It looks a lot like suede, but more like those fake leather shoes at Walmart. So that means no Birkenstocks - which seems weird to me.

There is a huge hemp fest in Seattle every year. You just missed the last one - it was about 3-4 weeks ago. You can purchase products ranging from soap to clothing. And as you might guess, most of the merchants are "happy" people.
