Would just peeling the clothes off count as cheating?

Calling ltl/fb: Snack Advice Needed

If you are hot (or it is hot out), Ben & Jerry's is a good call. If you are cold, and need to warm up, and like chocolate, that really thick chocolate drink at Starbucks (can't remember the name -- it only comes in small cups) is really good. Pretty much all of the pastries at starbucks are cold -- they seem to refrigerate that case. The lower the shelf, the colder the pastry.

If you want a latte anyway, I really like the toffee almond fudge bar thingy at Starbucks.

I am a big chocolate person, though. So I may be relatively useless to you.

I have kind of been wanting to try the peach/blueberry tart thingy at Starbucks, but it's on the bottom shelf and my office is cold and the crust looks like it might be tough.

ETA sorry if that took too long.
Nothing at the cookie store looked appealing, and the Ben & Jerry's cart disappeared (maybe this hurricane did more in Houston than I thought). Starbucks didn't have the tart thingy, so I went with the toffee almond fudge bar thingy. It was on the lower shelf and cold, a trait I do not care for in a pastry. I warmed it up a bit in the mircowave, and that seemed to do the trick. My craving for sweets has been sated. Thank you for your helpful advice.

RT, what the FUCK is that refrigerated tank of liquid nitrogen doing at the corner of Shepherd & Westheimer?

All, I realize these are topics better discussed via PM, but I always forget who is on my Ignore List and I don't want to miss any important or helpful PMs. Please quote the answers to make sure I don't miss anything.

Vanessa's shop is near there. Maybe she pissed off Heidi Klum again, who is now looking to freeze the fall line.

My parents seem to be having a great time in their early/mid 60s, and the only time I remember them slowing down (just a little) was in the mid-70s when they had four kids under the age of five. I have a feeling that's not going to happen to you.
I just need to get a pile of mushrooms. Thats whats missing. I had them all the time through age 32, then the connection vanished. I need to "clear the pipes" and remind myself this. is. all. just. bullshit.

Saying "hello" counts as cheating.

I guess that I should have told sebby that "skirt-chasing" is a Not Bobism for "complimenting the waitress's hair."

Lost (duh)
World Series of Poker
Arrested Development (duh)
Threshhold (a good start)
Is that everything? Really? I have over 30 seasons passes on my downstairs tivo (some of these shows might be out of season or obsolete). I have at least that many on my upstairs tivo too, although I don't watch everything that gets recorded up there -- I have a lot of "back-up" shows b/c I don't want to run out of things to watch when working out.

I am going to guess that the poster is J. Fred Muggs though I have no clue why em would be PMing me. Purse Junkie isnt back right> It isnt midnight east coast time so Skeks in the City isnt online. Tush Munch isnt around. Maybe its JRUSS, I mean Connect the Dots?
What an astute guess. I PMed you to give you information about Amazon because I figured that the rest of the FB world (see, e.g. Not Bob) had the ability to use Google to find a phone number and wouldn't be interested.

No real spoilers b/c Barely will eviscerate me (but feel free to scroll):

It was a little confusing keeping all the God-squaders apart. I think I counted three families that invoked Jesus, though. It was also confusing keeping all the teams with three or four identically dressed, screaming chicks apart, but familiarity-bred contempt will come soon enough.

Overall, though, it looks like more fun than I thought. A couple obvious teams to hate so far - the Paolo's most obviously - but it looks like several of the teams are funny, nice, and likable. I was also glad to see that the detours might not be the so-obvious choice that they have often been in the past.

I don't believe your pappy.
He may be rich, but he ain't happy.
He works hard... why?
So you can go out and buy...
A bunch of shit... that you don't need,
Driven by your punk-ass hopes and dreams.
That's why... I say... fuck it.

For the first time in my life,
I'm fin-all-y free.
No mansion for me.
I say fuck it.

No brand new Humvee.
I say fuck it.

[But you'll get no pussy!]

Fuck it!!!

What you don't understand,
Is I make love to my hand.
So I don't need you, honey,
I beat my dick like it owes me money!
That's right... I say, Fuck it.

Without liftoff, what is there? I'm not sure I can handle the 40s thing. I'm not obsessing over it or anything... But people keep telling me how great my life should feel, and it just ain't there. Maybe golf is the ticket - its kept my old man acting 18 for the last 30 years.
I never said you couldn't party after 40. I only stated my personal feeling that after 40, it's rather silly to go out partying in clothing purchased at PacSun or Abercrombie. Even if, like Thurgreed, you date girls who still hang their HS graduation tassel from the rear view mirror because it hasn't faded or gotten old yet.
