There is also a breed of cougar that is married, and whose husband travels a lot on business, is always playing golf, or at the game, who prowls out of boredom or revenge.

I was going to ask the same thing about Ron Jaworski.

Maybe he just prefers Shakespeare in Love to Die Hard.

That is a subspecies or a subset. not a breed.

From Po Bronson's factbook I left the foot note numbers if you need confirmaiton of the source.
Quote:
27.1 The 2003 median age for a U.S. male’s first marriage. 1.

25.3 The 2003 median age for a U.S. female’s first marriage. 2.

The Northeast Men and women who live in the Northeast marry significantly later than those in the rest of the United States. 3.

The Northeast Men and women who live in the Northeast marry significantly later than those in the rest of the United States. 4.

U.S. Census analysis has shown that the states with higher percentages of unmarried couples also usually have higher ages at first marriage. But is it that they are living together, because they aren't getting married, or are they not getting married because they're living together? 5.

Washington, DC The District of Columbia's age at first marriage is the highest in the U.S.: 30.1 for men and 29.9 for women. D.C. also has the nation's highest percentage of its population with a Bachelor's Degree or higher – 47.5 percent. And it has one of the higher percentage of unmarried couple households. 6.
. . .

69 percent of U.S. women ages 20-24 in 2000 who had not married. 38 percent of women 25-29 still had not married. 24.

22 percent of U.S. women 30 to 34 were never married in 2000. That is also about triple the percent of never-married women in that age group in 1970. 25.

“Since World War II, then, a historical difference between blacks and whites in marriage timing has been turned on its head: blacks used to marry earlier than whites, but now they marry later.” 26.

“In the nineteenth century. . . and throughout the first half of the twentieth century, blacks tended to marry at a younger age than did whites. Between 1940 and 1950, however, the average age at which whites married began to decrease, and by mid-century there was little difference between the two groups.” Then, the percentage of single white women kept falling, since they kept getting married earlier and earlier. But for nonwhites, the percentage of nonwhite women who were single began to rise, and has continued to rise ever since. 27.
More stats on marriage.
Quote:
"Nearly everyone marries." According to the U.S. Census Bureau. 23.

Over 65 percent of the U.S. men age 40 in 2006 had already been married by the time they were 30. 24.

About 90 percent of the U.S. men age 40 in 2006 are projected to have been married some point in their lifetimes. 25.

Over 71 percent of the U.S. women age 40 in 2006 were married by the time they were 30. 26.

Almost 92 percent of the U.S. women age 40 in 2006 are projected to have been married some point in their lifetimes. 27

Over 95 percent of men and women age 60 in 1996 were projected to marry at some point in their lives. 28.

However, American blacks "are increasingly less likely to ever marry. . . . Among the most recent cohort, women born in the 1950s, these estimates suggest that 91 percent of whites, but only 75 percent of the blacks, will ever marry. Another recent study estimates that only 70 percent of black women will every marry.” 29.
This is sort of the reference material that he collected for his Why Do I Love These People book. There's also an interesting blog with some analysis of the state of family these days, but one person I know finds it maddeningly light on sources.

Well, you decide. It is a post that mentions my boyfriend and yet does not contain the words "penis" or "blowjob." If I were a disinterested observer, I would say it's bullshit.

Oh, like either one is straight.

While we're on the subject of MNF, how fucking bad is that racket in the booth?

It's like listening to a bunch of women yak about their fucking nails.

There is also the implication that you were watching sports with him, which is right up there with the "I come while giving blowjobs" on the fantasy meter. In fact, when I read your post, I imagined that you were probably coming while giving him a blowjob during MNF.

eta: Though I suppose I could be reading to much into it. Maybe he was just complaining about what an idiot Theisman is while you were coming from giving him a blowjob, but you were watching Seinfeld reruns or something.

As my eighth-grade teacher used to say, "Average is below normal." Take heart.

This was one of many excellent pieces of advice he gave to the class, usually while opening his shirt to sratch his underarms.

He also said "Let friends come to you, don't go to them" and "Being singled out by me to read your journal as the best in the class is a high honor that will fill you with the glow of pride for the rest of your days, despite the burning embarrassment that you feel right now."

Oh, all right. We were watching MNF. Blowjob was at halftime.

I guess it's overall like 50% true, 50% made up. I am going to have to start making more shit up.
