Sad news for Thrasher

I can tell you that you've only experienced a small fraction of life until you've had kids. Until you truly start seeing the world through multiple (if overtired) eyes and feel the raging hormones inspired by every step of the process, your world is limited in ways you can never imagine.
So broaden your horizons. Live a little. Breed.

I truly hate this attitude. So thanks for that. If I have to hear one more time how incomplete my life is without kids, I will scream. [Note to self, shut the door first.]
I will admit that I haven't experienced 100% of your life since I haven't bred, but I have been busy experiencing 100% of my life. And it hasn't been too bad, really. Despite that gaping hole in it.

This could explain so much. What does your therapist say about this?

Speaking of, how's TI3 shaping up? I missed the first episodes.

Speaking of which, started watching The Reality of Reality last night. Tired old Alex Michel was there, along with several reality folks I didn't recognize. People are apparently surprised that their 15 minutes only lasts 15 minutes or so. Duh.

My husband looked. When the baby came he did exclaim how wonderful it was. It was not until well after the fact that he mentioned how weird the whole dilation thing was -- apparently one's "lips" become a gaping maw -- and how he kept saying silent prayers that everything would spring back into shape. The baby was not handed to me right away but rather was taken to the warming table and cleaned up while I "gave birth" to the placenta -- having not bothered to go to classes or read any books under the assumption that this childbirthing stuff had gone on since the beginning of time and would just happen naturally I was unaware that I would be pushing out a second "child" -- and I was then handed a nice clean cone-headed baby.

Amen sistah!!
And my last rant about kids today - why in the hell do people bring kids with them to Vegas? Are the kids having fun breathing in all the fine cigarette smoke? Are they gambling? Frying in the heat? Why do people do this?
On another note...there is a Celine Dion store in Caesars. Yes, Celine Dion has her own store. Morbid curiosity forced me to go inside to investigate why Celine Dion has her own store. Inside was frightening - every CD, t-shirt, coffee mug, shorts, hats, pictures, posters, jewelry with Celine on it. Mostly pink. It's like Barbie threw up in her old age. Even Celine shot glasses.

We've been down this road so many times on this board I'm actually shocked that someone owned up to having this attitude (that life is incomplete without children). But I am with you. It makes me very annoyed and I like your answers. I don't suppose GGG has ever heard of the word miscarriage.

You are my sock puppet. I love that show. I am sure they will re-air all of it this weekend.
Will Kirby still makes me laugh. I loved him on BB. If only we had a worthy successor. Speaking of BB, I guess Erika is gone this week?

That this is the reason I'm compulsive about my stuff and why it pisses me off when people break my stuff making me want to kill them. It's why key scratches and door dings make me homicidal.

I could have gone my whole life without reading your post.
I have absolutely no interest in anyone's gaping anything.

Except for the wording, your instinct is entirely accurate about the correct answer. Dude, seriously, if you and your wife had burst into tears wailing "how, how can people be so callous to brutalize our feelings about the loss of our children in this way?" in a huge, public scene that led to the perpetrator's eternal shame and social ostracism as a monster, you would have been committing a great social good. These people who don't realize that nosiness and personal questions are impolite for a REASON need to be reminded of the damage they do and bitchslapped down so hard that they never, ever do it again.
BR(and add "offering unsolicited advice" to that list)C
