You remind me because: (1) Snowballs are marshmallow-y like Mallomars, and (2) Mallomars are from Canada!! Who knew?

This reminds ME of a "news" factoid I heard the other day (for only one reason, I believe, and that reason is that mallomars are candy*). Apparently Americans eat 26 pounds of candy on average for Halloween. Is that unbelievable to you? It is to me, so I didn't trust my memory. I googled and found this (albeit 1999) article that says as much: http://www.cnn.com/FOOD/news/9910/22/halloween.candy/
I thought maybe I was misremembering and subbing in pounds for grams or some such thing (hey, measuring units is not my forte), but it turns out I remembered right. Egads.
*I am reminded for reason number 2 - it is Halloween time of year - but that has nothing to do with dtb or mallomars.

Cheetos, being orange, fall into a different category of starches altogether. Cheetos can be a healthy part of your breakfast, lunch or dinner, if eaten in moderation as a part of your daily diet.

I like marshmallows a lot. Normally I do not like my food in the form of white synthetic goo, but I do make an exception for marshmallows.

Sometimes, when I'm not eating them in moderation, I hold off on licking the orange Cheeto dust from my fingers until I've finished the Cheetos. Then I have a super orange, salty, intensely-flavored mini-snack. It is very hard to then return your fingers to their normal color.

I think that's annual consumption. Although that's still a lot. Half-pound per week. Every week.

No. But you do like it in the form of white, natural goo.

I think the article says that that's annual consumption, not just for Halloween. Either way, that's nuts.
eta: Burger, STP, etc.
L'il Ty is way, way into Halloween this year, but oddly enough he seems to be disinterested in the candy-acquisition aspects of the holiday, and we expect to once again be able to jettison most of his candy over time with his noticing.

Crunchy, of course. Who eats "regular" Cheetos?

Hey, man -- just because Cheetos possess an inexorable lightness of being compared to a leaden mass of, say, a Twix bar is no reason to hate.
