Everyone here is so cynical. I bet they have a lot in common to talk about, now that Paris has a successful music career and all.

The trick is to pay everyone the same and yet to let them all think they're above average.

I love Snowcap. And Jubel. And Full Sail's Wreck the Halls, if you can find it.
But, yeah.

I wonder
you know those commercials where a spouse blindfolds their spouse and pulls them out side and there is a car with a bow on it? Does anyone know anyone who did that IRL. I think I'd be pretty pissed if someone took all my model/color/option choices from me.
I mean, it's a nice thought, but not so thoughtful.

I think that the idea that people run out and buy each other cars sight-unseen is a myth dreamed up by Lexus about 5 years ago. That said, if Mr. Man wanted to go out and buy me a car tomorrow, he would already know the make/model/color/options that I would want. He is so ahead of the game...

You only do this in a community property state, so that she's on the hook for half whether she likes the model/color/options or not.

I worked with a woman whose husband bought her a Lexus for Christmas. They delivered it Christmas morning, though I don't know whether or not it had a bow or if she was blindfolded. She seemed to like it.

That whole campaign's a godawful crock of shit. If you've got the dough to run around buying people Lexi, you wouldn't. It's another cynical invitation to idiots to spend themselves further into credit servitude.
That said, I really can't say enough good about Lexus products. I don't think I've ever driven a nicer car than and LS. The sound system is better than those in most homes, and the fuckers ride like dreams. They make me want to take that shitbox BMW I bought and drive into the river. Fuck those people who say Lexi aren't good cars because they ride too soft and don't handle like the german shit. I hate that German shit. I just picked up the old lady's German shitbox from the dealer. Some fat douche in corporate golf shirt was stuffing his briefcase into the back of his X5. That's not a truck. Not a truck at all. If you're going to buy a truck, buy a truck. Have some decency.
*The 6 Series is awfully pretty.

There is one Lexus I hate - the GX. It's a $55k Highlander with a DVD player stuffed into the ceiling. The third row of seats are made of recycled keg cups and Barbie doll limbs.
If you're thinking of buying the GX, say within your budget and get the RX, or get the LX. Nothing's worse than a mid range car. It says you want the big one but can't hack it, but have too much ego to get the small one (an RX has the same room a GX does).
*In fairness, an LX is pretty lame as well. You're a pretty fancy fuckwad when the Landcruiser doesn't have enough goodies for you.
