Dear "Men" of the FB:
It has become apparent that you have been watching way too much Queer Eye For the Straight Guy. Please stay focused, and perhaps watch the NFL's Greatest Games on ESPN Classic or more Dirty Harry movies during the long summer break, and refrain from starting a heated discussion on your favortite hair care products. It's fine for you to like clothes, just don't go public with it.

Allen-Edmonds has about a dozen different lasts that they use. The model numbers of the shoes indicate which last is used for which shoe. If you go to their web site, they explain the differences and how to tell which last is used for which shoe.
For instance, I really like the look of the Fairfax. I was going to buy them in both back and brown. However, I learned from the web site that they are stretched on the narrowest last AE uses. MY foot is wider than that, so I wound up choosing a different model.

My god. I was wearing my Fairfaxes yesterday, and that was the exact shoe I recommended to Ty offline. Scare-ee.
And yes, they do run narrow. And long. But the 9.5E fits me perfectly, like a typical 10D.
PS - they are apparantly discontinuing that shoe, so they are 25% off at the AE store

An excellent question. I make more, so I pay more often. He is not Costanza-like though.

I think they should watch more porn, not more sports. Sex posts are way better than sports posts.
what's so skeevy about the donkey scene in clerks 2? aparently one guy walked out of the screening, and the NYT review says "I don't even want to talk about it."

sartorial
If you liked the blog ppnyc recommended earlier (The Sartorialist) (and I do) (read no further, Flinty), here's an article about it and other good stuff, with lots of links.

What's with all the scrollwork? It looks like an illuminated manuscript.

I can't believe that brc is missing out on the beginning of the first annual men's shoe smackdown of 2006.

I don't understand. Is this meant to be bad? Don't illuminated manuscripts turn you on?
