Just so you know

My oldest child (>2 yrs) is in the single digits for weight percentile, and the 90's for height; my youngest (4 mos) is about 50/50. Based on this information, I have slated the oldest to become a supermodel, and then a host for a TV show on the E! network or reality show; the youngest will be pushed to become a professional golfer/tennis player, and/or graduate from a top ten university, and top five graduate school.

I am the best parent ever. You all can give up now and accept defeat.

I'm pretty sure this is a line from a Tarantino film, but which one? As usual, RP is too allusive for me.

Actually, wasn't that a quote from the political intern asshat in the letter he wrote to his girlfriend explaining why he was breaking up with her?

2 (as to the str8 avatar thing). As to the rest of this conversation, I could care less. Actually I couldn't care less, but somehow our society has shortened that sentiment to "I could care less". Less probably doesn't care either, but I wouldn't presume to speak for him.

I told my ever-judgmental sister that I never plan to breast-feed should I ever have any children (such a big if that it is laughable) and then got speeches each time I saw her about how bad it is for babies not to be breastfed, yadda yadda yadda (making one wonder how all the thousands of babies born during the 70s ever survived, but I digress). I have since stopped spending time with my sister and I have no interest in ever discussing breast-feeding with anyone ever again.

Or, to be more direct, I could care less. (this mad smiley thing popped up on its own somehow (I'm not sure what the code for it is but I must have inadvertantly hit it), but I'll let it stand because it has gumption)

Are you breastfeeding them? How are your nipples doing?

Really? I wonder whether he stole if from sebby, or vice versa.

(Oh, and a belated welcome back!)

You are greedy. Don't just think about the children...breastfeeding is not just for kids! What about Mr. Man or whoever the future flavour of the month is?

(not to be judgmental, I am not but fyi) My oldest would have died during infancy without breastfeeding but we didn't know that until many months after the fact. FWIW. YMMV, it was a relatively rare genetic disorder (although there is another 'former" poster who has a relative with the same condition).

This line says no, but the post itself says yes, yes, yes!

Breastfeeding is for losers. I feed them raw meat and steroids. My nipples miss you, but they are doing fine considering.
