Lard is just fat, like bacon fat (yummy to cook eggs or pancakes in) or butter or peanut oil or olive oil. All of that stuff is 100% fat. To me it's most akin to butter because it seems to come in slabs like butter (or sticks) and it's solid (it might also remind me of shortening or margarine, but I don't buy/use those personally in cooking so butter it is for me). I'm thinking it's not a nice warm friendly butter color, but is more just white. Which is kind of unattractive and brings shortening to mind, and shortening is kind of gross.

But once you acknowledge and come to terms with the fact that fat is in certain foods, it's no worse than any other fat.

I don't have a visceral disgust of fats, though.

TM could reasonably interpret this as a compliment.

What a fucking idiot. We could make it a show about straight people dying of AIDS too! Ha ha! That'd teach those sinners who have sex a lesson!

I may have to resort to assigning you to the pool party cheval and PJ are enjoying at my Ignore List and you arent even really offensive though you might have been pro fur. Actually, if you are pro fur, that could be fun for you. You and PJ could parade around in your too old for you furs, with nothing underneath while chevy watches a la Peter Sellers in the Pink Panther. That might be hot for ou guys. And it could get you that FB brass ring- the menage a trois. Ooh, how fwench.
You would IGNORE me because my avatar makes you want to eat chocolate? Sheesh.

As to the fur thing, I'm not pro-fur so much as I'm not anti-fur. Just like, in the same way, I'm not pro-abortion, but I'm certainly not anti-abortion....

So, whatever...

When you are removing your foot from your mouth, as you reflect upon this, you might consider I meant that I put myself in the political situations that result in my encountering this sort of behavior.

Most gay people don't wander around confronting Fred Phelps et al.

Given that Lauriol and Cantina are owned by the same people, I'm thinking one is lying. Fresh Mex those places are not.

1) Nobody likes abortion. But some people, like PJ, seem to enjoy fur. So I dont get the analogy

2) Its not that I want to ignore you. But I defintiely do not want to go into chocolate craving mode. It is 225 here, and the cravings usually hit around 3. Plus I am PMS. So I dont need it. I dont totally have a feel for you right now, other than loving the joy of childbirth (I had to skip all those childbirth posts yesterday, sorry, not my cup of tea) and while I remembver your moniker, I dont totally recall your persona bc I smoked a lot of pot about fifteen years ago. So its a balancing test. My desire to not desire chocolate outweights my desire to read your posts. Right now. I might like you as much as NCS and RP after a week or so.

The service itself is about $10-12 a month. I'm seriously thinking about getting it, and my only question was whether you can pick it up in these concrete and steel edifices we call office buildings...

If you can, I'm buying the service for sure.
Hopefully not already answered, but that may be a problem. I've had it on rental cars and going through the woods was a no go. There needs to be a direct southern view, although the metal and concrete are not a problem as with fm. The stations weren't too bad, although as with DirecTV or anything else the rotation cycle begins to get annoying if you listen too much. Not that "live" radio doesn't, at least you have the commercials to distract you.

Is this the same guy who was out in front of the NYC school for gays and lesbians using an extension cord to explain how a plug and a plug aren't natural because there's no power, but a plug and a socket are nature's way (all in one of those rich, hillbilly accents)?
