No, but several people have tried to out me as my underwriter's counsel, who is a good friend of mine. Several people have emailed me thinking that I am this (not me) person. Of course, I also had some dumbass who kept emailing me insisting that I worked at Bryan Cave. Had I replied, I would have pointed out that would be inconsistent with all of my Texas posts, but whatever.

Oh, and you know what REALLY sucks? Leaving to go out to dinner with the Mr., and seeing the poor little grey-with-a-poofy-tail-stray-not-really-a-kitten-but-a-small-cat who has been living in my yard get hit by a car after finishing the food and water that I set out for her every day, then seeing the the kitten flail itself to the side of the street, and after getting gloves with which to handle the kitten so I could take it to the emergency vet clinic, seeing the kitten die, burying her in the the side of the flower bed she lounged in all the time, cutting a rose from my rose bush to put on the grave, and then as we are about to go inside, finding a dove with a severely broken wing less than 3 feet from where we just buried the cat, having the dove with the broken wing fly into the side of the house once it realizes that you're coming for it, and having to as humanely and painlessly as possible kill the dove who is now even more severly injured. Sigh. Hopefully I won't have to witness the deaths of any animals today.

If I am ever single* again, I want to meet your sister. Of course, I'd probably be way too stuffy for her, but ...

*Mrs. Not Bob seems entirely too interested in learning all about the whole Demi/Ashton and Naomi/Heath type romances for my taste. Plus, I think she has a date this Saturday with Officer Friendly.

We called her that because we thought she looked like a rat. Evidence (if you needed it) that girls are superficial and cruel. We wouldn't have called her any name at all though if she was not one of the 3 most annoying people in my law school section. so she brought it on herself.

A former co-worked called me up out of the blue and asked me if I was Tyrone Slothrop. Of course, I dissembled. Unclear to me whether this person knew the fake me from the Stalin Board, the SF/SV Board, or what. If em'd made it clear it was from this board, and had been willing to out emself a la meme fois, maybe dissembling wouldn't have been called for. As it was, it was, and I have been forced to mislead you all with a series of fake clues as to my identity which appear (judging from our last conversation) to have thrown the dogs off my scent. On this board, I feel safe in telling all y'all that I still work for the probation department, I live in Modesto, and I have thirteen cats.

I thought I knew Shape Shifter. We had a couple of nice dates. Turns out he had hired an actor to play himself (not very convincingly I might add) in order to throw me off the scent. What an ugly scene that was when I figured it out.

So the lunch-box collecting is interfering with your sex life? Or is the Mr. just lousy in bed?

I predict she comes back with something like, "You're projecting," thinking she's getting the better of you.

And she doesn't really have a boyfriend. She collects the lunchboxes so she has a place to put each piece of the one torn up love letter she received from the buck-toothed kid with the glasses back in the fifth grade. Why won't he just call?

how is it that Laci Peterson has a True Hollywood Story? I thought in order to have a True Hollywood Story it was necessary to have worked and/or lived in Hollywood and to be famous for something pre-death. This is like CNN reporting that Jenna Bush stuck out her tongue.

Earlier today, I saw a justice.com e-mail address in a mass e-mail that I was included on. I know who the person is that belongs to the justice.com e-mail address, but I don't know what name he posts under or even if he posts at the Stalin Board. He graduated from law school maybe two years ago, and he's one of my sister's best friends (in point of fact, he harrassed the golden showers boy at some point during the second exhibition date), so I'm guessing that he would have contacted me if he posts or lurks over here.

I was once convinced that I knew Shape Shifter, and that he was my best friend from childhood.

We were inseparable as kids, and knew each other well enough to complete the other's sentences. We were positive that we would stay in touch as adults, and that there was little that either could do that would really surprise the other.

Shifty's recent posts about events on the quad have forced me to reexamine my assumptions.

By using fake e-mail, or another board?
