Indeed. The discouraging lack of posts about liquor and porn might have something to do with it, though. That and tilapia.

I'm sorry that jealous bitch had to rain all over your birthday parade. If there is anything I can do to make things better, just let me know. And have a really neato birthday, please.

Sorry. On the liquor, they stopped me from opening the fourth bottle of wine last night. Something about it only being Thursday. I didn't really get it, since my last several Thurdays have been pretty alcohol laden. On the porn front, what happens at ACL yada yada etc. I did hear a positive review of Larry Flint's new book, Sex, Lies and Politics, recently.

Hi AdL

I had a dream about you last night (hi Thurgreed!!). Paris and Nicky Hilton were also involved. Nicky is very nice. I forget what Paris is like.

She can probably afford better PR people.

See, an expensive PR person would have helped you put that differently.

For All you Compassionate Animal Lovers and Thurgreed

A friend just sent me a link to a lovely local breeding farm which had an unfortunate visit from a tornado in the wake of Ivan. If anyone wants to donate to the breeding farm of the legendary stallion Art Deco (or just gawk at the damage), click here

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

Infectious diseases can be fun!

I thought the infectious agent ties that the CDC put out a few years ago were pretty cool, but these new infectious disease flash cards for kids are awesome.

I think Anthrax is my favorite.

For more info: http://www.cdc.gov/global/cards.htm

Edited to link to the ties. I think syphilis is very pretty.

I'm a little disappointed that I don't belong to the "Independent Committee of Eminent Persons" -- it sounds like a great group. And, apropos of nothing, it also sounds like the sequel to the League of Extraordinary Gentleman. Which may explain why I am reading this to myself in a Sean Connery accent. ("Yes, Truh-beck?")

Anyway, looks like the Swiss have decided to join in on the bank account fun. And don't you just love the tasteful timing?
  • FROM Marcus Heimberg

    Hello Friend,

My name is Marcus Heimberg a member of Independent Committee of Eminent
Persons (ICEP), Switzerland. ICEP is charged with the responsibility of
finding bank accounts in Switzerland belonging to non-Swiss indigenes, which
have remained dormant since World War II.

It may interest you to know that in July of 1997, the Swiss Banker's
Association published a list of dormant accounts originally opened by
non-Swiss citizens. These accounts had been dormant since the end of World
War II (May 9, 1945). Most belonged to Holocaust victims.

The continuing efforts of the Independent Committee of Eminent Persons
(ICEP) have since resulted in the discovery of additional dormant accounts
    54,000 in December, 1999.

The published lists contain all types of dormant accounts, including
interest-bearing savings accounts, securities accounts, safe deposit boxes, custody
accounts, and non-interest-bearing transaction accounts. Numbered accounts
are also included. Interest is paid on accounts that were interest bearing
    when established.

The Claims Resolution Tribunal (CRT) handles processing of all claims on
accounts due non-Swiss citizens. A dormant account of ORDNER ADELE with
a credit balance of $46,000,000 US dollar.(fouty six million united states
dollars,) plus accumulated interest was discovered by me. The beneficiary
was murdered during the holocaust era, leaving no WILL and no possible records
    for trace of heirs.

The Claims Resolution Tribunal has been mandated to report all unclaimed
funds for permanent closure of accounts and transfer of existing credit
balance into the treasury of Switzerland government as provided by the law
for management of assets of deceased beneficiaries who died interstate (living
    no wills).

Being a top executive at ICEP, I have all secret details and necessary
contacts for claim of the funds without any hitch. the funds will be paid,
to an appointed beneficiary through EUROPEAN INVESTMENT BANK. ONLINE BANKING.

If you will accept to present yourself for this claim ,we will direct this
funds to your name and to your bank account as the appointed beneficary.

Than we will share the funds and use it for investment of our choice.

Due to the sensitive nature of my job, I need a foreigner to HELP claim
the funds, please kindly provide me your details for
processing of the necessary legal and administrative claim documents for
transfer of the funds to you.

provide me with your full name, date of birth, address, and telephone/fax.
We will do all required process to ensure that the fund is transferred to
a secure, bank account in your name in the EUROPEAN INVESTMENT BANK which
you will be capable of accessing the funds gradually and transferring to
your country and other banks of your choice in the world. My share will
be 70% percent and your share is 30% per cent of the total amount. THERE
    IS NO RISK INVOLVED.

I find myself priviledged to have this information and this may be a great
opportunity for a life time of success without risks.

Due to security reasons, reply to my private email address only

    MY PRIVATE EMAIL ADDRESS,
Thank you for your prompt response.

    Marcus Heimberg
