And I don't have diamond hard nips. In fact, I have no idea what that means.
If you don't know what it means, how do you know you don't have them?

Diamond hard nips - See: Google image searhc for "Farrah Fawcett nude".

Jackson versus Polanski

I wish to add two other possible factors as to why Michael Jackson is grosser than Roman Polanski:
  • Let's face it; we all already had an image of MJ doing things with much younger boys than 12. The reason for the over 14/under 14 dichotomy in the law is our fear that sexual abuse "sexualizes" prepubescent kids. So we read in the paper that MJ got busted with a 12 year old, but the mental image is of him surrounded by much younger tykes, thanks to his many publicity photos of the same, and the younger we imagine them, the more the squickiness approaches infinity like a hyperbola approaches an asymptote. He's being tried in our minds for crimes different from the one for which he's charged. Polanski is known to have assaulted only one, and we don't imagine a crowd of second graders with similar stories.
  • Polanski slept with a girl, as other have noted. Thus, what he did to her didn't change her fundamentally; it just accelerated the inevitable. Not so with a man fondling a boy. For God's sake, he might have made that boy a homo. From Biblical times to the 19th century, Polanski would have been forced to marry his victim. MJ would have been burned alive.

I wish to note that I agree with neither of the above analyses, especially the second. I merely submit that they play a role in the public's unconscious distinction between the two cases.

New Subject and poll: 50 things to do before you die

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main...=&targetRule=0

Scroll down and click on "50 things to do before you die." It's a slideshow.

And a 2 part poll: how many have you done, and if you could only do 5 more, what would they be?

I'm sure many responses to part 1 will induce envy.

This is so, so sad -- I've done 8. Some more than once, but still. (Swum with dolphins, whale watched, escaped to a paradise island, route 66, waterfall, roller coaster, disneyworld, gambled in vegas.)

If I could only do another 5, it would have to be Safari, Galapagos, Husky Sled, Great Barrier Reef, and, um, riding a motorcycle from the Great Wall of China to the Cresta Run in Switzerland with a stop to see tigers and polar bears along the way.

But I plan to do at least another 5 (if not those 5) within the next year.

Emanuelle Seigner [who I think looks remarkably like the other French Emanuelle, the Beart one - although the GF disagrees] has a fat ass?

Roman sticks his woman in a lot of his films (see Frantic, Ninth Gate), just like that other Director-Pervert-Francophile Woody Allen.

Paragliding is boring as shit and Kilimanjaro is a walk in the park...the Smokies are probably tougher.

I need to climb a glacier and go way past Everest base camp...

Oops. It appears that Polanski was charged with giving a drug (Quaalude) to a minor, committing a lewd act upon a person less than 14, rape of a minor, rape by use of a drug, oral copulation and sodomy. He pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of engaging in unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor

I can cross 13 off my list - whale watch, safari, Aurora Borealis, paradise island, WW rafting, Route 66, elephants, motorcycle, waterfall, hike a glaciar, rollercoster, Disney World and Vegas.

If only 5 more: swim with Dolphins, go to the Galapagos, see the Polar Bears, try the Crested Run and bungee jump from the Sydney Harbor Bridge after I've clilmbed to the top (can you see Uluru from there?). And of course I would take the Rocky Mountaineer, the Orient Express and the Trans-Siberian Railway whenever possible.

I've got 9: Whale Watching, Paradise Island, White Water, Motorcyle, Cowboy, Waterfall, Hike in Rainforest, Gallop Horse on Beach, Disney.

My next five: Aurora (saw a bit of a wimpy one recently, love to see the real thing), Antarctica, Trans-siberian Railway, Volcano, Husky Sled.

Basically I'm up for all the nature lover and travel stuff, daredevil stuff isn't me.

Are you sure they had slides for all 50? I couldn't find the one where you're supposed to attend a clown-themed art show in Waco while tripping, be too wrecked to get home but unable to find a hotel vacancy because of a world championship skeet shooting event that weekend. Ahhh, road trips.

Not to mention the eyeball-licking.

What's the deal with climbing to the top of the bridge in Sidney? I've been to the bottom of the bridge, but I didn't realize you were allowed to climb up it.

edited to add: My count is 8, conservatively speaking, but it's a tad outable.

I've been in a van down by the river. Once. Well, okay, twice.
