What should she look like being a month away from 40?

Madge
I had heard she was just going to do a DJ set. I'll get the report on her set from a friend who went and post it.

She looks like she's in her early thirties. I'm sure most women would want to look as good as she does as they approach 40. Must be because she has fair skin, so she's not out in the sun a lot.

She probably laid off the drugs and whoring in her 20s, too. Lucky her.

This is why I can't watch the NBA: the officiating is atrocious. If you drive the lane and make a basket and someone is near you, he gets called for a foul. No matter what. If ANYTHING happens with 10 seconds or less, no foul is ever called. Traveling is NEVER called. I disagreed without approximately HALF the calls in the Lakers/Suns game, and I could have cared less who won. The officiating is ALWAYS an issue in the NBA - usually it's the main issue. That's a sign that something is wrong. It's turning into the WWF. I thought Mark Cuban was trying to do something about this.
It's the same reason that I couldn't watch soccer for a long time: a defender would get near the player with the ball, that player would fall down and roll around, and a penalty would invariably be called. But at least FIFA has done something about that.

We played a fun game in our house on Friday night with the 9 month old. It was called "count the number of steps LeBron took after picking up his dribble and before hitting the winning shot." That game KILLED -- I look forward to playing it again soon.

Clean living, hmm? That must explain why a colleague recently thought that I was younger than one of my brothers, even though I've got some years on him. Must've gone to the wrong college.

I don't mean to get all Hank on you, but I am not sure that the "Ay Carumba! Combo Platter" that you get every Friday at Applebees is representative of authentic Mexican food.

Which one? I thought every Real Sex episode was required to have a segment on middle-aged swingers.

They haven't done enough, and you'll see plenty of that shit at the WC this summer. In Scotland and, to a lesser degree, England, you need to have some serious physical contact for the referee to call something -- and even then it's not a sure thing. But in most other leagues diving has been elevated to an art form and the pitches will be covered with players rolling around in agony and trying to decide which part of their body to clutch after losing the ball to a legal tackle in the midfield.

On an average morning do you generally check the football results before you review my old posts or vice-versa?

And re: middle-aged swingers, when does middle age start?

So the march out on Market currently sounds like a lot of fun. There are some really good drummers keeping a hot beat. If I was not born in this country, am I allowed to take the day off and join the march?

I just LOVE how you call it "football." I feel like such a crass and unsophisticated American around you.
