What Flower said. And some of the good stuff has actually aged remarkably well: 'Mats, Black Flag, Minutemen, for example. "Let it Be," "Tim," and "Pleased to Meet Me" are kind of a poor man's "Let it Bleed," "Sticky Fingers," and "Exile."

Fringey on her new rug
And on her new sofa.
Geez. These are almost as bad as the shaved dog pics.

ETA you seem fairly convinced I'm an orange tabby. Why is that?

Those weren't dogs.
These are dogs.
I knew a Xolo named Tikal, once. He always looked uncomfortably naked.

Not so much. It's just that the orange ones seem to be more prone to eating themselves into morbid obesity. And they like to be photographed.

The anti-displaced dogs. Creepy (as opposed to Irie).

Heh. In a couple months, she should borrow two hairless dogs the same sizes as the Displaced Dogs and convince people she shaved the DDs so they won't be so hot in the summer.

Yeah, the Displaced Dog regarded Tikal with deep suspicion.

Um, where in New York, please? I quite admired some of the very chic bright silk blouse/dark skirt looks on her website for fall/winter '05.
I loved her comment about Starr - "at least she's educated...."
BR(my money's on Kara Saun to win, with Austin and Jay rounding out the final 3 - though I guess that's pretty obvious by now)C

That store run by the South African hottie in the second or third epsiode. I can get better info on where exactly that is over the weekend.

Cool. 'Cause:
- "That's who your ideal is.
Somebody who's going out to a wine bar, and is dressing a certain way to fit a certain type, who's not going to wear that same outfit somewhere else. Who takes pleasure in creating a little image for herself, that changes.
I just want to finish up with a couple of quick, fun questions. What fashion item can you not live without?
Oh god, high-heeled knee-length boots. I've absolutely got to have them. But there's so much -you're asking the wrong person. I have racks and racks of clothing.
What item do you wish the rest of the world would live without?
White sneakers. With white socks."
Vanessa is my sock puppet. (Or I'd like to think so, anyway.)
BR(I liked the "fat people in tight jeans should be executed" thing - someone had to say it)C

This has nothing to do with Vanessa, but this reference reminded me of your post. Though I've never watched the series, the below helps me understand better Vanessa's frustration with the apparent rules.
From Go Fug Yourself:
- Dear God. Leonor Varela's "dress" looks stolen from a Project Runway challenge, in which the contestants had to make a frock using nothing but heavy-duty Glad trash bags.
