That is sort of like saying, I had a Pabst Guinness, isn't it?

You are correct. I am humbled.
But on the menu it was called a "canteloupe martini" and that is how I reported it here.
Whatever the hell it was, it was TASTY.

Fan sites are reporting that Jun Balloon won the second part of the final HOH competition. That means she will face the other fatso in the final part of the competition. Looks like Ratbert may be in trouble. His nervous twitches and tics should be at an all-time high this week.

First off- if it is website spoiler and not tv spoiler, that needs a different spoiler space bc I watch the show but not the websites and thought I was safe, as they say in BB4 parlance.
Allison would pick Jun, right? bc she has a better shot at Justin's vote and cant get Jee etither way. Jun picks allison bc she is such a gaping asshole?
the jury better be harsh and entertaining bc these two are so unworthy and unwatchable.

Bnb, has motherhood made you soft? As you didn't name the drink, Wonk's being a tini timmy is no reason for you to be humbled.
And is anybody else getting a Bartles & Jaymes vibe off Wonk and Bilmore today?

Not that she can see this, as she is ignoring me, but Paigs seems to be in a foul mood this morning...even for her.
Wonder what got her panties all in a knot?...

It's made my waistline soft, for sure. And lack of sleep is making me, oh I don't know, easily humbled?
You are right. Wonk was being a tini timmy...but still, said cocktail was really really yummy.
what was the bartles & jaymes tagline? It;s right on the tip of my tongue...
Bn'(I agree with Wonk. I agree with RP. I'll agree with you too if you ask me nicely)B

You know, this is an embarrassing habit, but as several other posters have done the quote instead of edit thing lately, I'm going to try not to beat myself up about it.

Apropos of, um, this, I got on the web this weekend to look for this great web/animation thing I saw a while back which put pictures to Journey's Don't Stop Believin'. Tribute To America, or something like that. I think I found the old url, but AOL page says it's not there anymore -- so sad. Then, after more searching, I found it!* Phew!
At any rate, my question is this: Why do so many people bother to post the lyrics to Don't Stop Believin' when they could simply post a link to pages posted by other people who have already posted them?
Bonus points for answer that don't turn on the specific characteristics of Journey fans.
Of whom I am not one, just so that's clear.
* Spree Disc.: Contains Journey music

Reality of Reality
Watched some of this series I tivo'd this weekend. Not bad. It's kind of cool to look at reality television from so many different angles. The producers are unapologetic and will do whatever it takes to have a hit show. The contestants seem to be desperate for fame and will do whatever it takes to appear on one of the shows. The networks were slow to warm to these shows (and ideas from other countries in general), but after the success of Millionaire and Survivor, couldn't get enough. The actors whose shows have been replaced by reality tv (although not represented in the documentary) are said to be pissed off at the phenomenon and reality contestants themselves. That last one I don't understand.
I think it's hilarious that actors get pissed about this. You know what? Tough shit. Unless your show has specifically been replaced by a reality show, what's your problem? Do you hold ill feelings for other actors/shows that get picked up while you continue bartending/waitressing? And this whole "reality contestants didn't earn their fame" stuff is pure crap. What is the right way to earn fame? I don't hear a backlash against all those actors who were born into the right family. There is no "earning it." Either it happens or it doesn't. Besides, (aside from AI) they're famous for as long as the show lasts and then it's over. So, what's the big fucking deal?
The reasons behind reality tv's popularity is: (1) it's cheap -- networks are tired of paying every actor involved in a show $1 mil per ep and (2) people like it -- good reality tv shows are good tv. People dig the drama and are smart enough to know that although the producers tightly control and manipulate the drama, contestants' reactions and emotions are mostly genuine.
So, everyone needs to just get over themselves. From the producers to the contestants to actors to critics. Some of it is good. Some of it is bad. Just like everything else.
Will from BB2 said it best: "Sure, I was famous. But I was famous at like, Olive Garden."
