- Mr. Sparks said Ms. duFresne was strongly against capital punishment, and would have felt some sympathy for her young attacker. "This isn't about some bad, murdering criminal," he said. "It's about a culture that makes it so easy for kids to have guns."
Hard to believe he raised a girl who would grow up to be a playwright and actress living in Brooklyn who worked in a bar and would die drunk.
The Atticus Principle: Anytime a person says "It's not about X; it's about Y," you can bet your ass it's mostly about X and partly about Y.

Sparks is the boyfriend- not the Dad.
and what the boyfriend should have said is "There are kids with guns all over this cirty- but she is only dead because I am a sorry assed wimp fuck who ran away, leaving her to fend for herself. since I am such a sorry assed wimp I couldn't have done anything, but ultimately there's the fault."

My reading comprehension is for shit. They switched back to Sparks after quoting her dad.
Ever notice how victims of crimes and other tragedies are later described by their loved ones as having "loved life"? Such people are apparently magnets for early death. I think this is why Fringey and I will outlast you all.
This kind of thing would never have happened in Melvern, Kansas. I've seen the statistics, and it's a lot less populous there.

I'm sure this sort of thing happens all the time in Melvern. You just don't hear about it because there are fewer actresses.

Meek Request
I think everyone will mostly agree that I don't ask for much. Well I'm asking for something now.
Would someone go to www.shotstone.com and buy the curling game so that I can have someone to play against? The program allows for multi-player gaming, but you have to know your opponent's IP address, and there don't seem to be any websites that list people serving games. Bad shotstone, bad.
It's a really good curling game, but the computer's a little dim on strategy. It took me about 5 games to get the hang of it, but I've now beat the novice level and the advanced level in two straight games, so I'm feeling cocky. Maybe we could have our very own lawtalkers bonspiel!
Oh yeah, and I dibs PEI's sweet green unis.

Though, I'm disappointed they sent him to jail the first time.
It's a news article about some guy masturbating and his asshole neighbors.

"The accused – Daryl Milland Clark – was reported to police after a neighbouring couple watched him for 10-to-15 minutes through a chink in their blinds before calling police"
10-15 minutes of self love! That chap has more staying power than I. Does Canadian water have Viagra in it?

Redneck Home Economics
Kid skins, cooks and eats a rabbit and a rat in home economics at school. Because the kid ate the animals and didn't torture them, the cops and animal rights groups aren't suing. http://www.thewgalchannel.com/educat...75/detail.html
