Bummer
This sounds exactly like something the personnel department of my old firm would issue. The classic was when they decided to eliminate departure payments -- when you left voluntarily, the firm paid you one week of then current salary for every two years employed at the firm. The memo from personnel stated that the payments were bad because they rewarded people for leaving.

Fashion spam

I was spammed by a salesman from Michael C. Fox Custon Tailors. Their website is here..

I have never heard of these people. Has anyone ever bought clothes from them?

Curious...

Booty Surgery

Who knew there was such science involved in your ass?
On the last Extreme Makeover show, a woman got a procedure the plastic surgeon called a Brazilian Butt Lift. The doctor lipsuctioned her stomach and implanted the fat in her previously flat booty. She had skinny legs and a big chest so it balanced her out. The family and friends kept saying "She has a butt now!"

No, but I got nine out of ten on their fashion quiz.

And, fuck that, some oafish 40 year old needs to dress with the program at a "youth oriented" company.

That's what I said. What, do they want the 40 yo guy to dress like his grandfather? What the hell?
And you can't wear jeans on a flight on Sunday?

Does everyone have some compulsive liar *friend* in his/her past?

I had a friend in college who lied all the time. About stupid stuff. I think just to see if she could get away with it. [Well, in fairness, she was also very depressed and completely undiagnosed.] She eventually dropped out of school after she had alienated all of her friends (one of the things she was lying about was whether or not she was showing up to take tests in her classes). A quick Google search indicates that she went to UK (Kentucky, not England), joined a band there and got married while on air to a dj at the college radio station there. Gotta love the internet.
I will put aside comment regarding Tyrone Slothrop and the Politics board, and instead mention someone I worked with in DC during law school.
He went to George Mason which at the time was seen as the bottom of the DC schools (still good, but below GT, GW, AU and Cath.). Thing is he was very competitive and insecure and his girlfriend was at GT.
we had many dinners/parties that turned to his defense of how god GM really was. no one gave a shit except him, but clearly he really cared.
So one day Washington Post is doing a puff piece on the GW Bike Path, and interviewing riders, and mybuddy gets picked. He gives his name:
John Doe, student at Catholic Law School
it was so pathetic, like at least lie up to GT. but the funniest part was, his dad owned a decent sized NY Boutique firm. he could have went to matchbook school of law; it didn't matter.

Their bias is so apparent you'd think they sold mens' suits or something.

You can if you're willing to make your own travel arrangements.*

*Excepting those to destinations with only one flight on sundays, in which case your hating life for more reasons than just not wearing jeans on the flight.

Are you talking about Renee Richards? She played Billy Jean King in a big exhibition match which attracted some attention, but not nearly as much as that little troll, Bobby Riggs.
