Question for Imaginary Friends Who Run

I recently got new running shoes. I changed brands because the previous brand (Saucony) were too wide so I'm now wearing Muzano. I am a pronator so they are some kind of stablizing shoe. I really like them except I have been getting this muscle knot/cramp thing on the bottom of my foot near my instep. It's almost like a charlie horse/calf cramp but smaller and less painful. I can loosen it up with a little massage but it seems kind of weird and I'm only getting it on one foot. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before (or heard of it)? Am I risking a more serious injury?

Post this at the runnersworld.com forums. Cross post it on the "Shoes" forum and the "Injuries" forum. There are many knowledgable people there.

I've been through 8+ pair of Mizunos. They're fantastic running shoes. Are they Mavericks?

Thanks. I looked it up on the general injury info on their website and in books but I didn't think about the forums.

Regarding Mizunos, I'm not sure exactly which model I have (I think they're Waves of some sort). They feel pretty different than the Sauconys but now that I've figured out how to lace them up on my feet, I love them.

Was Rupert like the most clueless survivor ever? Did he ever watch this game before? His farewell speech was one of the most pathetic things I've ever witnessed. "They don't like me... I never fit in." How un-self-aware! They voted you off becaus eyou were a threat, you big moron. Because you ran around acting like Rupert, the Benevolent, tender to all the masses so long as they didn't diss you in some way.

And Lil? WTF? Has she never watched this game? Either she is the dumbest survivor ever, or she is one hell of an actress. "I don't want to lie..." Ohmigod!
Man, I missed this bc I was out with my chemistry guy again (had to slip that in there, subtle, non?) But basd on the voicemail I got after, it waspretty obvious that this was The Most Shocking Rose Ceremony Ever!!!

SPOILER (even though it was spoiled for me by people.com's email, fuckers. Hey, why am I not getting Peoplenews anymore?)

Whose idea awas this anyway? One voicemail seemed to imply it was JOn's. ("I cant believe that asshole.,,," delete, dont want it spoiled). What happened? Summary please.

Did someone declare a holiday and forget to tell me?

The parking lot was half empty this morning, and half the people that I've tried to call today aren't around. I thought, silly me, that the holiday wouldn't start until at least mid-morning Tuesday, but I think people have already cleared out and won't be back until sometime in the first week of January.

Is this a nation wide phenomena, and that's why the boards are so dead today? Is it just me and one or two of Penske's socks?

I think some people start Friday for this holiday. I'm off on Tuesday some time.

Today is Goldie Hawn's birthday.

Anteras was also elected pope today.

Both are worthy of celebration.

You have just given me an idea for a chain restaurant that caters to 21- to 45-year old males with disposable income and no sex life beyond the E! Wild On series. I could use some help with the menu. Suggestions would be appreciated. I'm pretty sure chocolate submarine will be on the dessert menu.

By the way, there's a much clearer version of the Paris Hilton video than was originally posted here, back at the trusty 7pounds.net site. You need Windows Media Player; this inspired me to download the free latest version to make sure that it worked.

I am leaving this weekend, so I am trying to finish everything before I leave.

I love Thanksgiving.

Which is why I'm looking forward to the new groundbreaking series on one of the premium cable channels (I think Showtime) called The L Word. Has anyone heard anything about this? Some of the actresses could convert me to being a lesbian if I was female. Maybe I can watch it at hello's place.
