so true. if tm could hear the conversations i have had with my fellow women, lamenting the fact that there's no way a guy over the age of, say, 12 is ever going to change, he would probably spontaneously combust

Anyone else want to predict Thurgreed's response to this post? I predict a certain continuity.

Over the weekend, a friend (Single Woman) relayed a long story to me. It seems she has recently been spending a lot of time with a couple she knows. The couple has been married for a few years and have a young child. Wife started confiding some unhappiness to SW and jokingly offering Husband to SW (who recently broke up with a BF). While out celebrating Husband's birthday with a small group, Husband decides to flirt outrageously with SW, including whispering "I love you" in her ear while his wife looked on from the other side of the table at the club. SW was uncomfortable despite her admitted attraction to Husband. H and W spent all weekend trying to get SW to come hang out at their house and watch a movie with them.
I joked with SW that they want a menage a trois although she swears they aren't the type. Seriously, what motivates these people?

It sounds like they do want a threesome and it looks as if the reason they want it is because they are bored.

We have wives who go on and on about how they love the feel of riding a hot, sweaty horse, and are trying to please them.

For your tote bag, I'd go with Hefty Cinch-Sak.

I still am going to look like 90's retro classic but so be it.
Hefty is so not classic. I might go with Longchamp or Coach again. I'm so sick of Coach.

Why? It seems pretty clear that I said they can't (unless they want to do it on their own).
People change, but they usually tend to change in a way that takes them farther away from whoever they're with.
And is your conversation more proof that you bitties are upset that you can't change your men even though I'm sure you thought you could at one point?
