Trust me, Im supersized, darling, I just live in an apartment with a smallish bathroon. Mrs. dL is compulsive about everything in the bathroom being white (floors, towels, soap, etc) to maximize its size.

The majority of Yankees fans I've spoken with think the trade is great, but have also admitted that the difference in budgets in MLB is embarrassing and they feel a little guilty about it.* And that the Yankees are losing their mystique by purchasing mercenaries instead of developing homegrown players.

No matter, when the Yankees don't win it all this year, it will be much more embarrassing to be a Yankee fan than a fan of any other team that didn't win. I'm looking forward to Steinbrenner's heart attack.

*Not towards Red Sox fans of course. But to the rest of baseball.

funny. I thought that women who were concerned about size went black. (softball, swung at)

and, on a related note (sorta), anyone care to wager with me that William Hung is not? and is that ironic, PLF?

The only thing that bothers me about this is that we'll never get to see if Donnie Baseball could improve Sori's patience at the plate.

And on the contrary, every small market team in baseball should applaud this trade as they will now receive even more free money in luxury tax revenue sharing (as well as even greater stadium attendance revenue) from the Yankees. But will these cry-baby teams like Kansas City or Minnesota or Pittsburgh actually invest their share in players? Of course not. The owners will just pocket the cash.

I think I need new towels to now match my curtain. Thinking about the loden.

does your death pool work points, reverse from 100 based on age? Mine does. I had the baby born with the second head, so i hit jackpot! I also have michael Jackson's boytoy.

So the curtain is loden? Is there some kind of pattern woven in? Hmmm.

No. neither of those would qualify as a "celebrity" in mine either. We do have to pick one wildcard - under 50, no known ailments, no known addictions, etc. If the wildcard hits - automatically split the pot with people who had most hits.

This is my first year in the pool and I've written it off already because I was not thinking about this stuff far enough in advance. This year I am doing research throughout the year, so as to know the Tug McGraw-type picks for next year.

Ps. While I hate baseball posts, I admit that Tug McGraw was one of my faves as a kid.

I used to have a clear plastic shower curtain liner. I was always trying to convince female friends to shower at my house. I'm the perfect candidate for those X10 ads. Wait, did I say that last part out loud?

Now we have a glass block surround for our shower with no door at all.

Oh yeah, edited to add, for hotness, you know where to reach me to send proof.
