And is your conversation more proof that you bitties are upset that you can't change your men even though I'm sure you thought you could at one point?

half the wives on the true confession page seem to still be trying to change their guy- but some seem resigned.
the guy who doesn't wipe his ass, the wife seems like she is still trying.
the wife who's husband faked putting on a condom- she seems somewhat resigned.

How not to
How not to act on a date.
This is good. This Joanne could be a friend of mine who has also had several dates from hell. Synopsis - guy and girl meet on J-Date, go to dinner, she offers to pay, he says no, I'll get it. Should be end of story. Then he calls her to ask her to pay for her half. She ignores him. He threatens a summons and call her employer. This guy's a CEO (he says). It's $50. Get over it. Read it. Listen to the voicemails. Scary and funny.

I read that blog in case it ever enters my head that I want to get married again. So long as it is in existence, I will be an unmarried woman. Mark my words.
This is not to say that my relationship is not going well. This weekend my boyfriend got his ass out of bed on a Saturday morning and watched me box for a few hours, and for the rest of the weekend went out of his way to make me happy. I don't know if there is a connection.

That website seems to be filled with wives that are seething over petty stupid shit that their husband does. I mean if it sucks that bad, leave him or it bothers you so much. Let it roll, I don't sweat it, his habits are what they are, I do what I can. Only way to make a relationship work. And I take comfort in the fact that at times I drive him friggin' crazy. Who me?

Inasmuch as this response doesn't include the words "suck it," color me wrong.

Eh. I think it works both ways -- you change in some ways that bring you closer and smoothe out the rough parts of your relationship, and in other ways that take you farther away.
But the second kind of change is a lot more noticeable.

Wow. That is pathetic. Anyone who is really that miserable should consider the Final Exit strategy.

this ability to turn out what the public wants- that's what makes America great.

I may be completely out of my mind, but I think they have the internet and a corresponding cafe press equivalent in most of the rest of the developed world. But you may cling to your outdated notions of an American stranglehold on greatness if that makes you happy.
