I certainly didn't mean the ending to show "how cool" I am. to the contrary PB is the nerdy board, isn't it? The reference was, however, quite obscure, even for occasional readers of PB, so I thought the ending might help. People apparently often are unsure what I might mean with a reference. I added the explanation, then, simply as a helpful tool. Surely there is nothing wrong with a tool, as long as it is helpful.

On another note, given that you have to keep reading all of what is done here, please do not blind yourself. When I read a post such as your's it reinforces to me just how important the board is to you. For you to take such a passing comment so much to heart, shows just how deeply you care. You are truly a valuable and special resource. A newer poster such as myself would do well to listen to your advice and criticism. I surely will make an effort to trouble you less going forwared.

And hopefully, someday, I will be able to call you friend.

My contribution to the skirt thread is that the mini-mini uber pleated skirts that I see currently are just wonderful. Although having played pool with a girl wearing one this weekend, I'd recommend using the bridge instead of reaching for the cue ball. Check that. Reverse it. I recommend NOT using the bridge.

My suggestion is that Hank wants to appear "in the know", which precipitates his throwing around of "inside references."

However, I'm not sure it can be an "inside reference" if it's something posted on a public forum, which makes his comment all the more recockulous.
