Does it seems like the Canadians have been growing increasingly agitated about their permanent second class citizen status in North America, or is it just my imagination?

1- as to the internet- Al Gore is an American
2- And America is a continent and includes Canada. why the hate?
and flower- most of the Canadians I see are naked dancers, so maybe it's not the whole spectrum, but they seem comfortable with themselves- and each other.

My daughter is in Cork and just kissed the Blarney Stone. does that mean she'll be a better speaker generally, or simply that she'll lie more?

This is good. This Joanne could be a friend of mine who has also had several dates from hell. Synopsis - guy and girl meet on J-Date, go to dinner, she offers to pay, he says no, I'll get it. Should be end of story. Then he calls her to ask her to pay for her half. She ignores him. He threatens a summons and call her employer. This guy's a CEO (he says). It's $50. Get over it. Read it. Listen to the voicemails. Scary and funny.

Somewhere there is a woman who will believe that Darren is deep down a great guy and all this scary weirdness and cheapness is only because he was burned by other women but now that he has met her, she can bring out his true wonderful nature. Count on it.

It means she just contracted seven kinds of Irish VD. Do you know what the locals do to that thing after hours?

your wife cannot be happy with how you are. Has she given up trying to change you?

And is your conversation more proof that you bitties are upset that you can't change your men even though I'm sure you thought you could at one point?

no. the lamenting is usually more about unearthing the final (as in last-straw) quality or trait that means we have no alternative but to show him the door, bc there is no one stupid enough to believe that a man could ever change.
but go ahead and spout off your oh-so-learned ideas about what women think. we'll just be over here laughing at you.

I obviously had the wrong girl friends in my young and clueless days because I know too many women who have gone into or stayed in relationships with men despite the obvious presence of unacceptable qualities.
I heard somewhere that when you have an instant intense attraction to someone (not explainable by hotness), it is because your emotional issues are clicking with that person's issues. Don't know if it is true, but it would explain why so many enablers end up with people who have addictions.

Isn't registering on J-Date a pretty good indication?
