I hated that new/old money thread on the old board that talked about how it was cool to drive a beat up car and wear Eddie bauer on the weekends. I wanted to hate fuck the person who said that (whoever it was).
Other threads I remember disliking include this 50 things to do before you die thread because I don't have the patience to sit through a slide show so I don't know what you're talking about. But, word to the wise, if you are going on safari, go to Namibia. Kenya is overrun with tourists and you'll feel like you are at your local zoo (although I will admit, you can get lucky - I did once, but that was once out of 3 safaris). Tanzania is apparently not much better (although slightly). Namibia is supposed to be great. |
