I grabbed a glop of washabi, and took the first pieces from the second tuna- it crunched from the chopsticks, and I thought it was frozen at first. still I took a bit bite of tuna/washabi and......it was watermelon!

The waitress and I laughed over my mistake. The itamae didn't see me, thank goodness.

Fringey- get a bacon cheeseburger with spicy fries.
wasabi does not have an "h"

2 questions, for clarification and information, respectively,,,

a. Is this a true story? I am sensing a docudramatisation of the facts.....compressed time periods perhaps?

2. Either way, was the waittress laughing with you or at you.

Side note on allthingsjapanese: I got a samurai sword letter opener this weekend. That's outable, so discretion is appreciated.

in the first version, I had the coincidential seating of Sandy berger at the next table, and had him advise me not to go forward with eating the watermelon.

As for your questions, Krazy, when her hair is down is pretty. Bootz (I think that's her name) has an exaggerated ratio. It's a bit too much, but I don't dislike it. Or maybe it was Buckey. I dunno. Bootz, Buckey and Beautiful are all not great, but not bad. That's about it. Check out their myspace pages: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flavor_of_Love

And what do you mean by attracted? Star-struck and therefore attracted? Yes. Knowing that being with him extends their 15 minutes and gets them into some parties with some famous people here and there and therefore attracted? Yes. Physically attracted? Maybe a couple. The fat one who's gone? Definitely.

And I am devastated that Buckwild left. And although New York is certifiably insane, I didn't really want her to come back. I need some fresh insanity. Maybe ppnyc can go on next season?

I saw one episode of this show a week or two ago (the one that he kicked off the larger woman with the heart of gold, or whatever). The two white chicks who are left are just gross. I thought the preview showed more of a multiracial thing going on. Were there ever any good (or even decent) looking white chicks on the show? If so, how did he end up with only those two skanks? The nicknames make it hard for me to keep everyone straight (or, more likely, my bad way with names coupled with the fact I only saw one episode makes it hard for me to keep everyone straight), but I think I liked Krazy and Boots. Beautiful wasn't featured enough on the episode I saw for me to know. The classic moment (other than the lapdances for Flav's friends by the pool) was when Skank Girl #1 was forced to admit that she couldn't name a single Flava Flav song and then she tried to turn it around on her "friend" for not stepping up and bailing her out.

Bizarre show. I haven't decided whether it is Good Bizarre or Bad Bizarre.

It may be that the only thing worse than having a root canal is having to be numb for the whole day afterwards.

This sucks.

You have my sympathies.

But there is something worse. It's called an apicoectomy, and if my experience is any guide, is only performed by the most sadistic of oral surgeons.

Oh my word. I just googled that, and shivered.

I love my root canal.

Merde. I did a spit take with my coffee when I read that and spilled all over my pants.....

Favorite eye cream for day? I'm not interested in Kiehl's or La Mer.

This seems exclusionary for a poll. I only use Keihl's eye creams.....am I barred from participating?

I use the stuff from Bliss. I think it's called Baggage Handler.

Although I will admit that I'm pretty lousy about remembering to ever put on eye cream.

I use this:

I also use this when my eyes are particularly puffy and I need a quick fix (don't tell my bf that I told you this, but sometimes he uses it too -- Penske, does that make him gay? nttawwt):

Not necessarily....probably, certainly potentially "gay vague" (the new metrosexual), but not straight up gay, per se......unless he is using it as lubricant for a man-pegging. That seems gay to me.

As an aside, perhaps I will try both of these, branch out from that eye cream that dare not speak its name [K.I.E.H.L.S). then in the next poll, I can actually participate, meaningfully. When do eye creams come up again? March 07?

As a further aside, I got mani-pedi treatment at Bliss in Chicago not too long ago. High marks for quality.

I've had three. And need another. I think getting cavities filled is just as bad.

It is Bad Bizarre. But it is so bad, that you can't not watch if it is on. And I've given up fighting it, so I just tivo it.

Krazy is the same as Skank Girl #1. When she braids her hair, she looks horrible. When she wears it down she looks pretty good. It's very strange.

Buckwild is the white girl who thinks she's black and doesn't care. She is hideous.

I wish the show was on HBO because it's way too censored and blurred. I want to see it all.
