I like yellowtail. I was making fun of Sebby for being condescending w/r/t sushi. Only Flower can get away with that.
"Don't condescend me, man. I'll fuckin' kill ya, man."

Flower? I bet Flower sits at the sushi bar and orders fried gyoza, probably wearing cologne or at least with a perfumed date- AT THE SUSHI BAR. What the fuck does he know?

Tomoe is indeed the shiznit, even considering you have to wait on the sidewalk in the rain for some period of time.

The last two times I have gone to Tomoe I have been disappointed. My friend tells me that Sushi Seki on the east side is better. I am not about to abandon Tomoe, but I am expanding my horizons.
My first real date* with my boyfriend was at Tomoe. The toro was fantastic and he stared at my boobs all night. Stared. My boobs have never had so much attention ever.
*the first date was not a real date.

It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine.
So now we have sushi-timmies? What the fuck is wrong with you people?
If there is a God up in heaven, perhaps She will inspire Pony to post something about celebrating his contingency-fee victory at Sparks or Peter Lugers.

The One Thing I Hate about NY
Is how everyone is in your face. At lunch today it was so crowded I'm standing on line and this tiny, middle aged woman was behind me jabbing her plastic container into my back, and it wasn't closed properly so it kept on popping open; and she had something with sauce in there so I had nightmares of splatters of sauce all over my back. Jab Jab Jab. I kept on turning around to look at her and she just sullenly looked back, jab jab. I almost flipped out but felt bad for her. She looks like a tiny 4 foot yoda, have some pity. Jab Jab Jab. Bitch.

Lunch
I am happy to report that despite the tempting sushi and chocolate talk for the last day or so, the mozarella, tomato and basil salad (with the grilled chicken thrown in on the side cuz I'm unlikely to eat much tonight) at Paulies was amazingly satisfactory. I'm still grinning just thinking about it.
Food of the gods.

if i lived in the City I would be bothered by the hassle of getting to the park to run, but once there I would love that there are public restrooms all through the park. I would try to work enough that I could afford to live just off the park.
Maybe I could house sit for dtb during the months she is at the estate?
