Literature - Ty (named after a literary character, after all); [alternate - Sidd Finch]
History - taxwonk (look to the old guy); [alternate - bilmore (ditto)]
Etiquette - Atticus (edged BRC on religion trivia, which I folded into this category for a reason known only to me); [alternate - BRC]
Sports - TM (talks a good game); [alternate - Coltrane]
Animals - flinty (of course); [alternate - robust puppy]
Music - evenodds (edged out PLF by discussing bands I have actually heard of); [alternate - PLF]
Science - Hank (hey, he's an IP nerd); [alternate - um, does anyone else know anything about science?]
Geography - fringey (has never confused NYC with upstate or Houston with Dallas); [alternate - paigow (ringer for all Connecticut questions)]

I noticed there was no "Law" category. This is probably a good thing.

I'll pay for the recreational travel AND buy the pints if you get the EPL tickets.

Erickson - ew. my wife doesn't fantasize about pussies (NTTAWWT).
Brady is gone, Conine only left at the end of last season, BJ and Gil are still Orioles, albeit perhaps only temporarily.

Will certain members of your team have access to Google? If not, you may want to reconsider certain choices.
And as for my alternate status, all I can say is, "Always a bridesmaid." And, bite me.

Are they that hard to get? Never having been in England with the time and money to see a game, I've never considered it. I was guessing that I could just do a little legwork and pay 30 of 40 pounds and have a seat somewhere in the stadium. Maybe not for a game at Old Trafford, but at least for a game at, say, White Hart Lane.

Hey, if I had a politics category, you would be in serious contention. Actually I thought about you for literature, but your lack of a literary reference in your name hurt you there. Sorry.
[confidential to rp - save the aggression for gameday. flinty is easily distracted and might not show up...]

Ah, well, thanks for the consideration. At least you didn't lump me with the old guys.
(Note on literature: check my location).
note to rp: we'll whoop their asses.

It depends upon the game. Anywhere ManU is playing will be a tough ticket, or any of the Derbies (sp?). I've been surfing the web for availability. I'm trying to organize a trip over this spring and would love to see a game. Preferably Highbury or White Hart Lane.

Speaking of trivia - the winning team (of strangers) at the bar last night was LeagleEaze. Anyone visiting Boston?
P.S. My team finished 3rd.

Other than Atticus on religion and Debtslave on Sanskrit, me and Less could take any one of these teams.

Not me, I haven't been in Boston in ages. I'll probably be there in July though, and happy to join up with the team.
