Anybody else watching? Tropical Wool which is the summer weight wool is not as summer weight as the name implies. It beats the heavier weight wools but it still is steamy and with Real Feel right now at 106, well, poplin sounds great.

I assume you are commando downtown too, but if not, that helps. Frankly, if I can be frank, I have discarded all of my undies, except for a "special occassion" leopard pattern man-thong and what's left of my stock of edible man-undies.
