This is like when we played bingo once at camp and tons of people got bingo and rather than keep playing until everyone got bingo, they ended the game and handed out crappy halloween-sized chocolate bars to the losers.

I sort of pictured her as the emcee. Of course questions would be based on random crap she found on the internet.

Not so random. As long as I can be Alex Trebek.

Huh. Reminds me of a softball tournament in ls. We were playing "no strikeouts" to keep the games fun. Some poor guy went up to bat, hands wide apart, feet awkard. His swing was an ugly lunge forward, like a drunk tripping on shoelaces. By strike 6 or 7, it was obvious he was not going to hit the ball. But what could we do - there were no strikeouts. Everyone was quiet, all attention was on him, I have seldom felt so bad for a human. Finally, mercifully, the law of averages kicked in somewhere around strike 15 and the ball made contact with the bat. The pitcher easily fielded the dribbler and threw him out at first. He did not bat again and spent the rest of the afternoon safely by the kegs.

No, I am not, as of yet, engaged to be married, or rather, committed.
That doesn't really sound right, committed, it sort of sounds like I am going into an insane asylum, for example, Candidate Dean needs to be committed for he has completely lost it.
Here's an mp3 mix of Dean's speech after Iowa. http://homepage.mac.com/lileks/.Public/Yeagh.mp3

Sadly, that is very true. I'm easily distracted by a nice set of robust puppies or a nice pastrami sandwich. Perhaps if rp were to stand on the sidelines in a cheerleading outfit on gameday, holding a pastrami sandwich, I might have to sit out with a groin injury, and rp could then address the differences between an unladen African and European Swallow.
Cheers!

I would hope that a free copy of the feature would be included in the price of the car. Something to put in a nice frame or collector's case.

Classy ride. This would make a wonderful Thrashermobile. I'll throw in $100. Anyone else?

It is included. The seller put it in the back door.

Chaser
Has anyone tried this Chaser pill? It's supposed to prevent hangovers from occuring by absorbing "congeners" in alcohol. I tried it this weekend and was pleasantly surprised. I took two of them with my first drink. You're supposed to take two more pills every 5 or 6 drinks or so, but I didn't. Still, after 8-10-ish cocktails and some shots, I woke up the next morning without some of the typical hangover symptoms I usually experience. No nausea, no headache, and only slight thirst. However, I was just incredibly tired all day and barely had enough energy to watch football in bed. I had no interest in even touching a drop of alcohol that day, but not too shabby considering eh?
Here's a link to it: http://www.thechaserstore.com/

I'll talk the smack; my team of which I am the captain won LA's only British style pub-quiz last week.

And SS, I'm not a great entertainment guy, so you might want to look elsewhere, except for reality tv and very current stuff - the poppest of pop culture. I am a capital G Great sports trivia guy, a very good geography guy, above average with literature, and beyond that I'm a generalist.
