Judge deals blow to Kobe defense
Accuser's medical records ruled not admissible

I was under the impression that medical records were only admissible if your physical health was at issue. Is any rape case a basis for the admission of medical records?

We slept on a Sleep Number bed when visiting the SO's brother and sister-in-law. They love it; we hated it.

Is ADL an appellate judge? No wonder there is such a backlog in the dockets, judges are on the FB

I too sleep with my leg(s) out, but on my stomach or side. I like my mattress that is just a firm mattress with no pillowtop or anything. I think the feeling of sinking down into the mattress would just exacerbate the feeling of being too warm. Now that this topic is raised, I wonder if there are mattresses that you can adjust the temperature so that they stay like 1 or 2 degrees below body temperature (or whatever) to keep that hot feeling at bay. Anyone?

So, can you explain the "fold up and die" part, then?

Well, at a minimum the rape exam medical records are admissible.
In the Kobe case, they were seeking her mental health records. She had tried to commit suicide twice in the few months before the attack. They wanted to argue that she was mentally unstable under theory that mentally unstable people would be more likely to make up a false rape charge. They argued that she waived privilege by discussing her psychiatric treatment with her mother and friends.

Edited because I'm braindead today, and now have to endure the humiliation of Burger's quote. I need a drink.

My husband was on about the tempurpedic mattress for months, but I refused to buy something that big-ticket from an infomercial. (I'm not above buying the odd Englebert Humperdinck CD, however.) Anyway, I was in a shoe store a couple months ago, and they sold temperpedic mattresses (I know -- huh?). So, I tried it out in the store, and bought it on the spot.
It is remarkably comfortable. It's firm, yet soft; it's rye, yet pumpernickel. It is all things to all people. I would also recommend the temperpedic pillows. Aaaaah.
Also -- does anyone know what time it is in Sydney when it's 6:00 pm in NYC?

Oh, and re re, yeah, but it didn't take. Perhaps the board can employ you as a copy editor to go back and fix all the posts.

Do yourself a favor. Go to Macy's and check out the Sealy Reflexion mattresses. I wouldn't normally send you to Macy's (aka, the Craphouse), but I shopped all over NYC for a mattress and I didn't find anything even close to as good as the Newport Beach mattress I found there. Here's a link: http://sealy.com/productCatalog/refl...ductLineID=319 Trust me on this one.
Unbelievable. They come in a softer plush, but it starts to be too much after awhile.

A friend of mine has one of these. It's like a rock. Apparently it takes years to break in (and I guess the ones in the stores have been so used that they finally feel soft). He hates it.

Spooners cause excessive warmth (and breathe on me) and get shoved off. Or rolled over and climbed on top of.

My Box
I can fit more in my (PM) box. Is everyone's box bigger?
Am I getting PMDP'd?

All boxes are bigger now (hold 100 instead of 50). Seems like a good segue into a double vaginal discussion. Anyone?

I think the effectiveness of double vaginal would be enhanced by use of an angled surface, such as a chaise.
