It's Monday Night Football people!

There was a 1/2 hour point/counterpoint on Sportscenter last night. The public vote said that it was being blown out of proportion (voted by likely MNF watchers). Am I the only other person who thinks this is getting too much press. It was a commercial for a sexy show. On Monday Night Football - not Sesame Street.
What the hell?
While I agree that it is being blown out pf proportion, a "joke" with TO playing the role of Mandingo isn't all that funny.

Feel free to drop your towel and jump into my arms any time. I won't be offended.

I think the brew-ha-ha and apologies were all part of the plan. Controversy sells.

Yes, but what will the mediator think?

Brouhaha always reminds me of a "Nick Danger, third eye" skit that a guy I used to work with made me listen to many many times.

"What's all this brouhaha?"
"Brouhaha?"
"BREW-HA-HA!"
hahahahahahahahahaha.

It's stupid, but it always makes me laugh.

Dictionary.com says that both pronunciations are acceptable:

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=poinsettia

Another bad pronunciation is the word "pronunciation" itself. So many people say pronounciation or something like that.

Isn't some of the flap maybe caused because some people still don't like the idea of interracial couples? Am I crazy?

As it's been a while since anyone's commented on your avatar, I just want to say that she makes me horny, baby. The picture's a little small, but we can definitely see areola/nipple on the bottom of her right breast, right?

No, but the more press the better, because it will force the FCC to continue with its censorship program. That is, rather than back off the fines for Ms. Nasty's wardrobe malfunction, they'll pursue it to the point that Red Lion is overruled and the FCC is constitutionally stripped of authority to mandate or restrict broadcast content.

Howard Stern won't kill the FCC, the FCC will.

I like to mispronounce hyperbole as "High-Per-Bowl" - just for the hell of it.

That is hi - LAR - ious. I like to overemphasize the LAR syllable, because it's hilarious.

Ah, shit, dude, I had a friend who pronounced it that way, and not on purpose. I guess she'd seen in in writing while in law school and picked it up as her new word of the week or something, but one day she was suddenly talking about "hyper bowl this" and "hyper bowl that" when talking about her lectures. I figured "Hyper Bowl" was some local variant of what we called "asshole bingo" at my law school.

Then, about 2 weeks later, I sat bolt upright in bed at 3 am and realized what she had been saying.

Then I laughed my ass off.

BR(I guess she figured it out, because I never heard her say the word again, correctly or incorrectly)C

Perhaps the person you were in bed with told her.

I hate it when people use "mo" for "more." Just lazy.

It's More Williams, or More Sizlak. Got it?
