Add some olive oil. Put tuna in pan. Wait two minutes. Flip tuna. Wait two more miinutes. Take tuna out of pan.
Where's the difficulty?

Could you have done what you do now as a first year? I couldn't have. It's the people treat things as simple, easy or "form" when they should understand the nuances or when the things aren't simple, easy or "form" who fuck things up royally by trying to do more than they understand how to do.

God, you sound like a tool now.
Nothing's complicated after you've done it once. This isn't heart surgery. Its fucking paper. People just bloviate about how fifficult it is to justify the billing rates. You're a fucking scrivener - I'm a fucking mouthpiece. We're just playing roles for cash. get over yourself.

Its all in the nuanced flip. A poor flip and the tuna is ruined. Those of us in the know can taste a bad flip.
ETA - I used to love the olive oil on the tuna, but oncce I tried the peanut oil, shit... I can't go back to the olive... Give it a try. A little peanut oil and some teriyaki. Tasty.

Its a foolproof meal. You can even fake saute the spinach by nuking it in peanut oil and mixing in the peanut sauce afterward.
Oh, and put out a bowl of soy sauce. And serve it with some red or some beer. I find Dos Equis tastes good with tuna.

Don't encourage her to cook tuna! She doesn't know what the fuck she is doing! She'll fuck it up and then mmmm won't want to sleep with her!
Cooking is fraught with peril for the novice.

Neither are squash or zucchini, to the extent you distinguish fruits from other vegetables.

I like the olive oil. I buy the good stuff and use it often. Peanut oil is great when you're going for Asian or fusion flavors. But if you are just relying on salt, pepper, and oil for flavor, go for the Colavita.

Agreed, but let's not be so hard on him.
Reading this stuff, I'm getting the sense that, at least the way mmmmm does it, this can be a complicated exercise. Maybe he and his new mate have timing issues to consider so that they don't get hung up in the riggings.

If she were inviting me (and 99.9% of men) over, she wouldn't have to cook at all. I mean, really, isn't the food kind of extraneous?
Just feed him a few drinks and lean over the table like you intend to place some food on it, ABBA. That should take care of things.

Its like when Thurgreed first made the "mentor" joke at mmm, there was some complicated thought, but now I have had to resist spitting one out at about 10 of his posts today. stuff get basically commoditized, or else. An 80% is a 3.0 in college, and 20% of this stuff can't be breaking down.
